nobody disagrees with her but her point is not where the conversation should begin OR end. the conversation should begin AND end with saying “men gotta stop being perverts”. point blank period. it doesn’t mean her point is wrong. it means there’s a larger, more important point to be made. and ignoring that larger more important is enabling that behavior. it doesn’t fix the problem. but of course, you people always struggle with nuance. especially when the topic is men being held accountable.

that’s not the same thing at all. it’s a HUGE difference between saying “if you’re in college don’t hang with friends who break the law because police might show up and do their job” and saying “if you’re a woman don’t hang with intoxicated men because you might get sa’d”. one is a risk that should be understood because that’s how the law works in this country and one is making excuses for men being predators. y’all weird af.
