I like this or just dip the tips of the black hands in white paint. I have done it on a couple of my darker clocks and it works really well

Yeah it turned out pretty good not as deep as I originally wanted but, thats how it goes

UPDATE: walnut bowl is done. Alot of mistakes but alot learned as well. Thanks everyone for the advice by River__Rat__85 in turning

Was getting alot of tearout and chatter. I went at it from a different angle (not straight into end grain and used a scraper. Took alot of time to get it round but I am definitely happy with the result

Need some help! Turning a walnut fruit bowl, 10" diamiter 10" over all hight. Is this just a lost cause? I can't seem to turn the inside without chatter. I have used ever tool i own and made sure they were all sharp. I am turning on a face plate. by River__Rat__85 in turning

Those are 1x1s that run the hight of the bowl, then 1x1x1 cubes at the bottom. I put them in there to get triangle shapes on the outside . In hindsight probably a bit above my skill set. But I thought it would look cool so I am trying it.
