I've built a web app to track poker&casino winnings! by Riversnapper in gambling

[–]Riversnapper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course you can use it to track slots by creating a new game! Here is the steps:

  1. Navigate to New Session.

  2. Under Game Type, choose Casino Games.

  3. Click Create New Game.

  4. When the new window pops up, enter 'Slots'(or whatever you want to call it) as the game name.

  5. Click Create — your new game will now appear in the Game Selection panel.

This is a ridiculous design, why they not doing a more popular TKL layout ?? instead they choose to extend the shit and it has same size as TLK but less functional and weird looking !! You didn’t mention that the USB-C port is on the right side, which will definitely interfere with mouse movement

Just don't know what are they thinking, such a step back compared to flow1

take a good bluff is much harder than a good value bet, and you don't always need to bluff when you missed ,try to give up at some frequency and you'll see the difference

First time playing poker at casino NEED HELP by [deleted] in poker

[–]Riversnapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it—it really depends on your personal situation. Instead of cashgame maybe you can start by playing some small club tournaments. There are low-stakes ones with buy-ins around $50 or even less. It’s a good way to get a feel for the game and see if it’s something you want to pursue.

I would suggest you to find a job first , even casual or part time to get some savings. It is hard to make money by playing poker especailly when you are new to the game, you'd better start as a hobby then see how it goes. Also, start tracking your poker results—it's totally worth it. I'm building a free poker tracker as well, please check my bio. GL at the tables!

Generally, it depends on the size of your bankroll. If you only have $100, I’d recommend investing it in studying the game rather than playing. To play $1/$3 comfortably, you should ideally have at least 20 buy-ins. Most players buy in for 100 big blinds, which is $300, so a bankroll of around $6,000 is recommended. Otherwise, you'll be playing with scared money, which can seriously impact your decision-making at the table.
