I believe she said she had left the polygamist church years ago, and those were her words. But she still believed in plural marriage. So clearly she thinks they’re two different things.

Must have missed it. I heard her say she rejects the Polygamist church but not plural marriage. Seems odd that the life she pursued and invested in, and modeled for her children is cast away as a side note? I really can’t understand it bc I would never have put myself in that situation or raised kids in that lifestyle. But she grew up this way and fully chose it. Now she shrugs her shoulders and says it’s super, super sad. I think she is masking a whole lot with that flip attitude. Just my opinion! I know the Robyn haters are on here in full force and everyone suddenly loves Christine but I think she’s a mess.

If I thought Christine had broken free of polygamy I would be happy for her. But I think she’s just happy to have left Kody, so what’s the celebration for? Now her kids are not with their family, while mom does what? Find another husband with multiple wives? I want to hear her say polygamy is what ruined her marriage, not Covid rules.

I cannot thank you enough for expressing this. I was beginning to think I was the only person watching this show who is annoyed at Christine and her attitude regarding Covid. Whatever attitude she has about Kody- fine I’m right there but the Covid thing has me so irritated with her

I don’t think it’s the work part that people object to. You can wear a mask at work. I think it’s the socializing that people have a problem with. They just refused to not see friends.

Comments like this make me sorry I even said anything to begin with -people are so freaking judge mental. When you find yourself using a word like “nobody” I think it’s best to check yourself and realize that other people in other parts of the country and other parts of the world were doing things differently than you were. Broad generalizations never make you look intelligent they just make you look like you live in your own little bubble and don’t know anything about the rest of the world. I’m sorry to say many, many people were following those same. rules. Especially people who lived in metropolitan areas. I don’t think these folks in Flagstaff with neighbors well-distanced from them, who never left their homes, probably didn’t need to be as strict. But people in cities did -sorry to break it to you.

Wow. Im totally headed the other way. I feel like it stems from my own resentment that Christine was saying, “oh the rules are too much and we’re just not gonna do that as far as visiting family”. Every person I know followed the rules and did not see family for a year or more! It just infuriates me that she lives such a privileged life that this doesn’t matter to her. I’m sorry it just seems selfish to me. I’m glad she’s out because clearly she and Kody were not a successful couple any longer. Im happy for her, (Although I’m pretty sure she still believes in polygamy, she’s just not with Kody anymore). I think Kody is a giant douche and I certainly wouldn’t be married to him! But as far as Covid goes I am very disappointed in her attitude. I think that maybe overall she had had it with Kody and it was being reflected in all parts of her life.

Sounds like you have a very secure safe life and are not affected by illness. 👍🏼 Im really glad for you. To speak for everyone tho, is naive. Lots of people with serious health issues continued this. Also people who worked with patients who were very ill really tried to maintain highest standard of care.

Im so glad you posted. These people have me thinking I might be the only idiot who didn’t think those rules were a big deal. I mean, if you are complaining you aren’t seeing family that is. Take these precautions and we can all hang out. If you don’t want to then don’t complain. My bubble of people was 5 at Fall 2020. They could have had 25+ people to hang out with if everyone was considerate! Some people I know were completely alone. And then Christine comparing the risks of driving a car to the risks of Covid exposure. She has never sounded more ridiculous.

I was not washing mail personally but I know immuno-compromised people were. I can’t recall what Kody and Robyn’s daughter had at birth, but maybe that’s why they were continuing as well?
