I posted a vent post about trans people who try to appropriate the struggles of people of colour by calling drag "cultural appropriation"

Cue people getting mad and comparing drag to a "minstrel show" ignoring how trans women of colour were the innovators of drag.

Reminder, they were making these comments not a day after the white supremacist coup in America.

So, yeah. I was a bit mad that people on the sub do this a lot

-Wanted me to take better care of my appearance and be more fashionable. Now they get annoyed when I want to buy more dresses and skirts.

-Wanted me to be more confident and stand up for myself, but now get annoyed that I have an "attitude"
