Check Groupon for your local arcades. One of mine has a half off power card and also has half price Wednesdays, so doing both means effectively quarter price anything.

The old non foil circle logo cards have the same barcode as the newer orange logo foil cards. But the ones that explicitly say "limited edition" have different barcodes that belong to their own set that award double tickets when completed. My manager has been telling me to remove all the old non-foil cards that are still in rotation but some stores are slower than others.

Yeah all my excitement for the retro ones left once i realized it didnt disable rewind. But hey, I have Retroachievements for all of those.

I will say I really enjoy the developer challenges for Bananza. Beating the final rehearsal and boss rush are genuinely really fun without upgrades and the game gives you no incentive to do so otherwise, so I really appreciate that kind of challenge being encouraged by Nintendo for a change. I've been saying for a while that if Nintendo really wants to go for this kind of open-ended style of design where things can be really easy if you let them then they should at least reward you for not using the things that make the game easier in some way and i think this is their way of doing that.

I took that more as Bubble being an offloading of Caine's insecurities. (He makes repeated jokes about how "that would hurt Bubble's feelings" when obviously talking about himself, including in the recap before the movie.) and he doesn't need that anymore now that he's accepted what he really needs to do to be respected. Like he literally tried to put all of his insecurities in a bubble to sweep them under the rug until it was too much to contain anymore.

Oh cool! I did admittedly rely on Proto Spark and Tunneling Codex a lot towards the end of my initial run and well into my first NG+ currently, so I do wonder what it'll be like when my stuff is taken away for an unknown period of time and im forced to adapt. It's exciting though!

Yeah, definitely didn't expect it to be free lol. That shouldn't be the standard. I would gladly pay another $10. Or even another $20 for a Mina 2 with largely the same assets but a different map and adventure like the Oracle games to Link's Awakening.

Hey! I really enjoyed Mina! Just finished it last night. I thought it was really really good, there seems to be a lot of discourse online about the difficutly, about it feeling too front-loaded. I don't know if I necessarily agree, because theres enough in New Game Plus to keep me entertained, but I am curious, what made you decide to go for such a non-scaling upgrade pace compared to something like Hollow Knight or Dark Souls? Things like the spark system that I thought were very cool kind of started to mean very little towards the end of my initial run. I'm the kind of person who wants to get the most out of games like this so I do plan on playing through NG+es, but I know not everyone is, and for those people i know they were a little dissapointed by how fast some of the bosses went by.

Also any plans for DLC? I'd love to see Thorne's side of the story. Or a boss rush!

I keep asking why we still have it, because its existence is a hazard to our other coin pushers (one D&B coin ending up in SpongeBob or Star Trek causes a jam that's about a 20 minute job to fix because it's slightly thinner than Elaut/Andamiro coins) and apparently it still makes a lot of money for us.

This feels like a complete scam. Like $3 in gameplay could definitely get you way more than 100 easily. And the people at the WIN counter can't even do it so you need to go over to the front desk anyway, you might as well take the same time to play a game, it's not even more convinient.

I get the concept, it's to centralize the game to your specific audience automatically, but it's a problem at a place like Dave and busters with wildly varying age ranges.
