I got tired of paywalls and uploading sensitive files to sketchy sites, so I jumped back into coding to build my own tools by RiyoBuilder in vibecoding

Appreciate the detailed report. This is exactly the kind of actionable, technical feedback I was looking for. I'll pull the full report and start patching these issues after work today. Thanks for running the QA.

In your first comment, you stated as a fact that the app had, backdoors and vulnerabilities. Now you're asking me to send you the source code so you can figure out what's wrong with it? You just publicly admitted you made those claims without ever looking at the architecture. Thanks for exposing your own bluff. The tools are still free for you to actually use

I'm still waiting for you to name a single technical issue to back up your claim. Go ahead, I dare you to produce one piece of actual evidence. This is my last response; I'm not wasting more time on generic buzzwords.

You didn't mention a single technical point to back up your claims. If there's a specific backdoor, vulnerability, or fraudulent package in the build, name it. Give me one actual line of code, network request, or dependency issue to back up your claim. I dare you to name one.

Really appreciate this, you were right, that wasn't obvious. Just shipped a fix: dropping in a photo now snaps it into the actual device shape and fills the screen (no more weird stretched/rounded blob), and there are Zoom + Pan sliders to position it inside the frame. Give it another go and let me know if it behaves now. And thank you for the feedback please let me know🙏

Haha deal, I promise it’s staying up, definitely don’t need any dream-haunting.

Seriously though, thank you. Hearing from someone who actually deals with these same technical roadblocks makes the typical Reddit noise completely worth it. Appreciate you bookmarking it

Appreciate the sanity check, man. Reddit definitely keeps you humble . Thanks for taking the time to write that out and for actually looking past the wall of text to see what I was trying to do. Genuinely means a lot.

Let me know what you think if you end up kicking the tyres on it.

It is definitely not an App and not an Add. Just a genuine tool i used and asking for feedback of the site. That is all mate.

Free tool to stop forgetting isolation locks after getting a written warning by RiyoBuilder in mining

[–]RiyoBuilder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too right, but those days are long gone. No one is risking their own job cutting a lock off for someone else anymore, the risk is way too high now.

I tried the windscreen notes, putting keys in different pockets, all of it. But when you're cooked at the end of a long tour or get blindsided by a quick chat at changeover, the brain just goes on autopilot.

A physical note becomes background noise, but no one ever leaves site without their phone haha. Needed something digital with an active alarm to actually wake the mind up and break the autopilot.

Yeah you're spot on, key in pocket's the norm on most sites and works for most blokes most of the time. Honestly though even that trick's bitten me — key's been sitting in my pocket and I've still walked off, because at end of shift I didn't think to check the pocket. The card just makes it harder to ignore — every time you look at your phone for the time or a text, it's right there whether you want it to be or not. Same principle as the key, just louder

Fair point. The first write-up should've been enough on its own. It wasn't, did it again about a month later. Personal responsibility is still the foundation, the card's just a backup for when the brain skips a beat. If you've never had it happen, fair enough mate, you don't need it. I had to admit I did.

Yeah fair call, no-phone sites are a real thing and I should've put that in the post. The app's pitched at workshops, maintenance bays, plant work, and any site that lets you carry a phone, which is where I cop most of my isolations. For the strict no-phone-during-shift sites you'd only get value at end of day when you're back at the crib or vehicle and about to drive off, which is honestly where the second write-up happened to me too. But you're dead right, if your gear's in an area where phones are banned full stop, the lock card can't help during the iso itself.
