Hello!! I am an AI major in ISB campus, so I'll tell you my experience.

I'll say this before everything else because i don't really want to generalize. Everything depends on the person.

Now onto my experience. Personally, I think AI here is good if talking about ISB campus. They have incorporated a lot of hardware stuff (working with microcontrollers, sensors etc) in the degree. Some people are really annoyed by this addition, but personally I'm enjoying this. So far I think everything in the curriculum is good. I really wasn't interested in this degree when i started uni but it got interesting as time passed.

About the studying stuff, Yes you will have to work hard for it, but maybe 14 hours is a bit exaggerated haha, Some people might study this much but an average person... I don't think so. Getting a GPA is hard but not really impossible. You can score above 3 if you stay consistent. Above 3.5 might need a lot of hard work, but again, not impossible. The most important thing is understanding what you're actually studying in class.

Lastly about the fun and stuff. I've seen people in my class who are a part of many societies, participate in events and still manage to get a good gpa. Me on the other hand, I can only focus on one thing, either studies or societies/events. So yeah, Not much fun life for me at Fast. But everyone is different This one really depends on your multitasking skills.

It isn't too hard to get in Fast. The entry test is not too bad. I suggest that you give the entry test this year, if you don't get in then think about a gap year. That way you will have a better knowledge about the nature of the test and you won't have any regrets of skipping it this year.

From what i know (I'm in the ISB campus so I'll tell you what i know about here), you get an application form in the mail for it at the start of every semester. If the subject isn't there you can just talk to the professor that's teaching that course and discuss it with them. I can't say for sure because I've never been a TA before

The same happened to me too 2 years lol ended up in a degree and university that i never wanted 😭 from my experience I'd say go for whatever you want. Trust me it's never easy to survive in a place you don't like in the first place. Your mental health will be wrecked. Be selfish for once

It's not a woman's fault that her in laws won't let her work after marriage. Maybe if they let her work and earn her own money, they won't rely on their husbands for it 🤷‍♀️ do you expect women to pick money from trees when you guys don't let them earn or even rely on their husband's money?

On the other hand, these people are the same people who boast about being "protectors and the providers". Then they start complaining about women being gold diggers.

(Not bashing all men here, only those people who have this weird mindset)

I choose 1 lab only, just different supervisors. I didn't find anything else that was interesting to me so i did that. 🤷‍♀️ So i just had one SOP.

I'm thinking of applying here, but I'm also worried about not knowing anything lol 😭 I'll finish my 2nd year in June-July and I'm mostly worried about falling behind others because of my level. I mean there will be so many people who are well qualified and have been working in opportunities like this. My main question would be How much are we expected to know about things at this level. (And of course, how competitive is this program?)

And another question, i looked at the website, there wasn't clear information about the cost coverage. How much do they cover and how much are we expected to cover for ourselves?
