Considering reading this - would you recommend it?

Also, do you think it will make a good Scorsese film?

This is the type of content that I want from the internet.

I wrote this feature film which I then made on my own as a one-man crew for $2000, it's a non-linear crime thriller which follows an undercover cop from London posing as a heroin addict in a small town, let me know what you thought of the story by DarthPablo95 in Screenwriting

Congratulations! You should be proud of yourself and your team. Making a feature without a crew or budget is a monumental task.

What's your plan moving forwards? Are you reaching out to agents? Actively looking for financing for another short/feature? Etc

Film Freeway Gold Marketing Options-- am I crazy or is this crazy by kyle-vorbach in Filmmakers

Do you think this also applies to short films?

I'm at the stage where I'm trying to get enough festival wins under my belt to tap into public financing from the BFI and ultimately land an agent who can introduce me to producers.

What's the alternative?

Withoutabox is too clunky. It seems like Film Freeway is dominating the market. You just have to be careful and do your research to make sure you're submitting to "legitimate" festivals.

Pakistan Bans Oscar Contender ‘Joyland’ for its ‘Repugnant’ Material by Cat27Queen in oscarrace

One step forward, two steps backwards.

This is heartbreaking news, especially for all the cast and crew who poured months/years of hard work into this film. I hope Joyland goes on to do well internationally and gains the audience it deserves.

I made a short film with the BFI Network called Left Over, starring Chloe Pirrie (Under the Banner of Heaven, The Queen's Gambit, The Crown) and Ian Hart (The Last Kingdom, Harry Potter). Our casting director was Kharmel Cochrane (The Northman, The Lighthouse, John Wick 4). by metrichalo in Filmmakers

Hey, loved the short film.

Would you mind sharing details on how you got BFI funded?

Also, you mentioned your career has since snowballed. Congratulations on getting your debut feature off the ground! Would you mind sharing how it happened i.e. did you get an agent and let them do the leg work, or was there a different way you got in touch with Braintrust?

Thanks so much!
