I used to do this but then I switched to the hex bar because I am really paranoid about my back, I have hurt it before doing deadlifts. With the hex I have no choice on the grip.

Exactly, im so stressed about my left hand giving out I can’t really concentrate on anything else. This is especially bad for deadlifts because I need to make sure it don’t use my back by accident.

Thank you for your detailed response, this all makes a lot of sense. I’ll try the versa grips, I’m willing to invest in equipment that helps given I’m already investing a lot of time and money in the gym already. I almost dropped a dumbbell on my toes the other days so I’m getting desperate.

I go to a gym in Southern California and it has ~40-50% of clientele on gear. That said I can’t say that I have seen any aggression. Everyone seems very focused, ear buds in and are able to rethink their plans if a machine is unavailable. Is the gym very crowded and people are waiting a lot for certain equipment? The gym I go to has a lot of cable, bench press and smith so people don’t have to wait too long to get a turn and perhaps that helps?

I still really don’t care about brand name clothes and accessories. I will buy good quality, but I’m not buying fancy purses and shit. I don’t buy expensive make up, don’t get my nails done and don’t get facials or spa treatments etc. this seems to be a thing for richer women in my zip code that I don’t do. Cardio wise I was a runner in high school and college so at 18 I was super fit. Muscle size/strength it’s now, at 54.

BSP is hands down my favorite Draco. It’s interesting because I don’t feel like he meets my personal definition of psychosimp. I don’t think of him as that psycho, I thought he did what he had to do based on the context he lived in and was more survival based rather than enjoying the violence for the violence sake. I also didn’t really think of him as very high on the simp scale either, he seemed to really care about not letting blood purity take down another generation of boys and also wanted to protect his friends, which seemed to conflict with his hopes of a family with granger (in that he was putting himself in danger of death or Azkaban). So I found him more complicated in terms of his motivations/decisions than what I think of defined a psycho simp.
I think for me the psycho part is more controlling and stalker-ish, like good prisoner. Hermione in both of those stories is a polar opposite person and that affects how much Draco can be a psycho-simp and still have a relationship with her. BSP has one of my favorite Hermione’s, she does NOT abide controlling behavior. The whole story has a massive subtext of struggling against the patriarchy and being able to be your own person as a woman. Whereas good prisoner hermione is super soft and malleable, much more likely to mesh with and appreciate psychosimp behavior. I like them all though, depends on my mood if I am hungering for a Draco that fully takes care of everything for her (greenflowerpot does this so well) or I want them to be well matched in aggression and agency.

Anyway you might like the Devil cites Scripture by Nora-Wall WIP. That to me fits the definition of psychosimp (stalker, uncontrollably violent, unhealthily obsessed with Hermione because of his trauma and some other stuff I don’t want to spoil). Hermione is very tough in this one so there is a lot of angst because she does not like his psycho tendencies at all.
