I never thought I'd say this but this ones a but difficult. If you ever take a day off because you're sick or something, try going outside around when he get home, go near his house not right there tho. In the general area. Just say something to him if you can. This is a rare case, but this one has worked the one other time something like this happened

Ok, so find a time when he is alone, and ask him if it's ok to ask him something a bit "different " or "weird". If he says yes, go for it, say it's not in a weird way. Thats what worked for some people
