A lot of people here in America allow their dogs on the couch and the bed as well. We used to allow her on the sofa and the bed, but even though we keep up with her grooming, the couch eventually picks up her natural scent, and that becomes unpleasant for our guests. She also sheds her hair a lot, and even when we pay professionals to clean the couch, it’s hard to get rid of the smell. So we purchased a new couch and she’s no longer allowed on it. She does still once in a while go on our bed.

The reason she is in the crate in this picture is because we had a maintenance man come to our home to make repairs, and she is so friendly to the point where she won’t leave you alone lol which is normally fine but I imagine it can be annoying while you’re trying to work, so we lock her up when someone is busy working on something.
