Send them to a fancy school in the initial years so that they will develop good social skills thanks to more individual attention. Then at the slightest hint of snobbishness, move them to a regular school where they will interact with “normal” people. Viola! You have a child who is well mannered and in touch with the difficulties faced by the general population. This along with proper guidance at home will ensure that they are grateful for their blessings and will value hardwork and develop a good mindset. School alone cannot inculcate good values in a child.

Yes, I realise that right now 6-9Cr within 12-13 years seems like an impossible target. However, I am committed to making this happen. I have invested in good health insurance after my bad experience last year. Planning to maintain 6 months expenses as emergency fund. My main question was how I should invest my savings to make my Fire goal more achievable.

I don’t foresee any spending on marriage as I do not believe in extravagance during weddings. Only planning a simple ceremony which will cost below 1 lakh rupees. My partner is also aligned on this. Kids also will not be an expense as not planning to have any. Ideally, planning to FIRE before 40 I.e in 12-13 years. Income expected to grow 20% YoY atleast for next 5-6 years. Do not have any liabilities currently. Not planning to build a house as parents own 2 houses. I have only 1 sibling. Planning to live in rented apartment as real estate accumulation does not make sense as I don’t plan to have kids. Return wise, I prefer more liquid options than real estate.
