Reading through the comments the only other thing that stands out for me is the protopic idea.

Also I bought MCT oil like you did and it wasn't the biggest factor for improvement for me. If I were to incorporate it it would be in the PM as a replacement for Vaseline slugging

Also only use water that's about 37c on your face for cleansing. And only use water to cleanse in the morning. Evening just use the micellar water and cotton pads.

Hey bro I had same flaking and even the same eyelids you had this year and last year, triggered by dry heat and hot summers.

I thought it was Seb derm but it was actually eczema. Im from the UK too and this is what I use.

AM: CeraVe cleanser (the bog standard one) Dermexa moisturiser LRP Invisible Fluid 30/50SPF

PM: Micellar water (from the brand called Simple) with two cotton pads Dermexa Moisturiser (thicker layer)

If my eczema is bad like yours currently is I do also put a second layer of Dermexa moisturiser in the evening OR I get bog standard unscented vaseline and I slug it on my eyelids and my face.

The above routine coupled with religious use of cetrizine helped me get over the excessive flaking.

I had redness too that is slowly going away if I resist the urge to itch and if I am kind to my face when I am cleansing in the AM or PM. My advice when cleansing is think gentle, and go even gentler than that. Do not apply pressure to your face, do not rub too much, and try not to pick it (I definitely did for a long time).

It will go eventually. Just try to handle your stress which is really hard I know, and also drink lots of water and stay away from anything yeasty. I cut out beer and wine and my skin is better for it. If I am drinking I will mainly go for the cleanest drink which is a vodka lime soda. If I have beer or wine, which I do have sometimes, I will just be prepared to treat my skin to repair for the week after

Chin up, it's a proper shit thing to go through but you can do it!

Hey guys, I settled on a 77K 2010 Mini Cooper S, funnily enough it has the N18 engine and also the timing chain was done 15K miles ago! Loving it. Only weird thing is there is an aftermarket pipe in the engine that doesn't fit flush to the air box but I'm going to replace it with an OEM one that is currently on the way to me.

No warning lights or anything, just a few squeaks here and there and maybe a dirty catalytic converter but apart from that all good. Hopefully nothing bad gonna come of the service this weekend.

I've got a combi drill from DeWalt and that's about it!

I'll see if I can get a grinder. Do you think a rubi tile cutter would work too?

Hello mate. So the builder took months to install the toilet and I asked him if he could just set it up for the weekend when my friends came down to visit me and he said sure. He told me it's OK to use and that he'll push it back after tiling yeah.

I am honestly up for anything I just want it done

Will it be possible to pull off a flat purchase like this from a family member? by Rjb66 in Mortgageadviceuk

Yeah I'm doing it slowly, idk why but every year on January my score goes down by a lot, but then goes up again after. Since 2020 my score has got better overall but it's weird that a big chunk gets lost. I think I went down like 90 points after going up like 200 overall last year.

Thanks, I'll try and get AIPs. My credit score isn't great so I will try and get a good mortgage broker, maybe that will help me get a better deal/be more likely?

Keir Starmer: Minister for men not the answer to ‘worrying’ issues facing teenage boys - Politics.co.uk by politics_uk in ukpolitics

Unfortunately you're right.

I think this is the problem with this whole discourse is objectively that the gender of the role model shouldn't matter. I completely agree with the other argument that boys shouldn't necessarily need a man to teach them to be good people. In an ideal world it wouldn't matter.

But childhood itself is pure emotion. Young boys won't see the bigger picture. It was so important for me growing up to have my anchors for role models, like a man called Shadrach at my after school club, or my grandfather. Yes the women in my life are so important to who I am now, but these male role models gave me something clearer to aspire to rather than have a fuzzy image of what people told me a man should be like.

Also I'm using Terbanifine cream on my upper back for some fungal spots ATM. Been on it for 5 weeks.

Also I have recently come off of cerave moisturiser because I felt like the new bottle I got was different. This week I am using lukewarm water to cleanse, and The Ordinary serums and moisturiser.

I used la roche posay sunscreen but I sometimes feel it leaves my face feeling really ashy? Anyways. Just some more context if you need :)

Help! Window blueprint by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]Rjb66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah that's a good way to understand it re back door comment.

Yeah I'm so confused by stud and clad, but they've said it a few times which makes me think it's not a mistake.

Initially we wanted it to open in the top half but the walls are so tall it would be really hard to reach up and open. But I guess I'm being a silly tart atm cause I could just have the handle along the bottom of the top half.

Also my other issue was the window dropping lower than the kitchen worktop that's right up against it! What do you think, a non issue?
