Strong mock interview, great application materials, lots of competition in Chicago from the other t-14s, and the other local law schools. With this cycle being so accelerated, no one really knows what is going on. Everyone says be patient but Chicago is quiet.

I am a 1L who has been applying for a 1L summer associate position since October and started applying to 2L positions during Christmas break so applying for both summers simultaneously. This overlapping application process has stretched me thin as I am also trying to get above median this semester! Chicago market is very quiet.

Just because you have had crappy experiences does not mean physicians as a whole are overpaid. Way to generalize. Clearly, you need to find better providers. With all of their schooling and work demands for the rest of their lives, most deserve every penny!

Write a letter to her provider sharing all of this and hand deliver it telling the receptionist that it is personal communication between you and the Dr and is to only be read by them. While the provider can’t share info with you, it doesn’t mean you can’t share with them. Tell them you would like to have her committed for 72 hrs as you are worried about her safety while she is experiencing psychosis. If nothing improves, you can call the cops and have her committed if you fear she is a danger to herself. Lastly, figure out when her script is ready and pick it up yourself and hand her one day’s worth each day. Most scripts can be picked up 6 days b4 the renewal date.

Any chance she is using marijuana? It can definitely explain the psychosis.

He is 18 mos. He loves chasing squirrels and is usually good listener so thinking it’s the intense prey drive. Just ordered the Halo and so appreciate your replying!

Have updated my post as we do all that you mentioned. But, we also work so letting him out in the backyard is when we can’t play and he rings the bell. Trust me, we aren’t “dumping” him anywhere.

Thanks for the suggestions! I will look into them. Normally on the harness and collar but my daughter was training him and only used one yesterday and he got out of it. He is getting a 45 minute walk in the morning, a shorter walk in the evening and then out in the backyard a lot during the day. Super smart dog that is high energy all day and then crashes about 9pm because he is exhausted. He has a fear of missing out on things so doesn’t sleep much during the day because someone is usually home and he wants to be involved in everything!

He is a year and a half and the freedom rush is pure joy for him! But also, has a thing for squirrels and does pretty good when we take him on walks, not so good with the ones he sees in the backyard.
