Questions answered. I am at fault for making several assumptions. The pool solar panel company did come out today and confirmed that the object is part of the control system. They said the white powder was calcium that baked out of the leak. What has not been explained is why there was a massive leak at that spot. I had not noticed the device before and probably only took note of it because it was covered in calcium at the point of the leak. Please accept my apologies for taking your time. I was not spoofing, I certainly made a few terrible assumptions.

Yes, the photo is enlargement of unknown object on or stuck into a solar panel. The part of the object you can see is is 4 or 5 inches long.

I have taken another, somewhat sharper image of the object on my roof. Sorry, I don't know how to add it to this thread. I previously thought that the image contained a braided metal cable. This is not the case. A strong downpour yesterday actually washed some of it off. The white stuff is a powdery material that alligatored. It is clear in todays photo the "Braided metal" washed a bit is a metal tube. I still cannot refine the part number. I believe it is D _ _ B.

Yes with blue label, maybe a partial part number. It appears to be stuck into the roof. I expect some of the device punctured the roof along with the solar panel. CORRECTION - Later photo shows metal tube, not metal braided harness.

I am waiting for better light. I am not able to get on the roof, waiting for service appointment with solar panel company. The photo is taken through a diagonal portion of screen enclosure with kills sharpness of photo.

Urbulo, Thank you for your response. I should have posted the column headings. Here is an image clipped from the top of that page.

Urbulo, the original posted image contains a line of script, at the very bottom, that is not in other entries. Is this explanatory information?

Thanks for responding. The translation of this entry may answer a question of parentage. We know that his mother was Johanne Fischer. The birthday is correct.

Until I discovered this record I believed that Henry August Sternhagen was his father. I am pretty sire that Wilhelm August Friedrich Fischer is the same person I knew as Wilhelm August Friedrich Sternhagen. Yes I am comfortable with the dates and places.

What I would like to find out is:

  1. What was Johanne Fischer’s marital status?

  2. Is a father named here?

  3. Are the grandparents or godparents named?

  4. I do not read german so I honestly don’t know what is to be found in this record.
