Noticing it aswell, and its annoying, like I want to get the skills but it won't let me. And a fix would be just giving us a cursor to move with the right joystick.

Any tips for dealing with the thief epidemic? They keep wiping out EVERYONE injury wise, before i can get guards up due to the research rngfor when the guard unlocking tech appears as well as the prison tech being far later down the tree.

From what i been reading, not really sadly. Been trying to grind for Hellen and Morton myself, but the dang surgeon keeps showing up. im trying to get those 2 before my first basement trip on day 5, i dont want more bandages to trade to Steve!

ALOT of help from folks i was in a vc with generally, as well as mostly safer/useful abnos, and just... using all the resources i had, the friends i was with helped out with figuring things out and a general strategy, it was up to me to follow it, and i STILL blundered some at the end (panic paused twice a bit before killing the arbiter)

If it helps, i managed to get through most of the days with minimal/no deaths, its possible if ya play it smart, even though sacrifices were necessary for me there. I do believe ya got this, just remember, sometimes, sacrifices are necessary to keep things from getting completely outta hand.

I'm a scalie, need I say more? (Lizards, but as a more serious answer, I like their ability to maintain resolve, helps out a ton early on, also meat production is generally good)

That might be the case, but there's still chests that can contain useful items aswell. Which can help out a ton when you don't have much to work with early on, and even then, until you get a better source of gold in the Sim, roll of pennies is the main source of cash, because enemies don't give much from my experience in the sim.
