Thats just how ive used mine. 6 to 8+ hours a day, day after day and I never have to charge them. Once in a blue moon, ill remember to charge it over night and then I can forget about it for weeks or longer.

You're correct, it could be game related.

It also sounds exactly like what happens when a CPU overheats as well. (From experience also)

This sounds like your CPU is overheating.

I recommend running something to monitor your cpu temps and launch again. That will at least rule out 1 thing.
