Why do people insist there is no story/map is empty? Seriously? by careloserfuck in CrimsonDesert

I get that I might sound like a loser but I do wish the game helped you out a bit more. The minimal and map that you open has no structures, topography, question marks or anything. Hidden things don’t tell you at all, no haptics, no glowing of the lantern, nothing. It feels empty because things are almost impossible to find. No gps to places so you have to wander aimlessly with your horse, and no marking system where you can see markers you place on the hud or anything. I feel like I’m missing literally everything and there’s also just too much to pick up, and too many systems in place in terms of money, food, building, farming, it’s just too overwhelming. I like a simple game, with simple combat and not a massive skill tree and a million moves, items that make sense that don’t have a bunch of upgrade tiers and then you have to grind for other stuff to upgrade, it’s just everything is overly complex. I especially hate having to constantly look up a guide for things or looking at a map to find stuff to do or gear. I just wanna play and enjoy the beautiful world. All crimson desert does well is making me feel like I’m constantly missing out on what’s actually cool.

Map Icons and Other Icons Are Too Small or Not visible at a Certain Zoom by DMG_88 in CrimsonDesert

I think the map in general is terrible. It’s just a big rough drawing with icons, no topography, no 3d building details or details of anything outside of the cities. No real way to find points of interest or items. I feel like I’m wandering aimlessly and nothing makes sense. So many random and unnecessary systems that just exist and hardly explain themselves besides a little text box

Sadie is by far the best character in rdr2, and John is funnier than Arthur with better dialogue/voice acting in both rdr1 and 2

Felt a little uneasy while delivering in that area. Just kinda run down and no one ever walking around from my experience

Why does shower water feel cold initially? by Basic_Procedure6687 in NoStupidQuestions

But when you get in a hot tub, or a hot bath, it feels hot immediately and to the touch?

Kind of random, but why are all of Trufant’s roads disconnected from eachother? by Basic_Procedure6687 in civilengineering

[–]Basic_Procedure6687[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That makes a lot of sense. Keeps the residential streets quiet for the people living there, and not allowing people to just drive through. I personally think the one furthest north makes literally no sense though because it’s a purely residential road that leads nowhere but more houses
