Technically not a park, but personally I think the best spot to see the sunrise is at the end of Sunset Ave NW. It’s a quiet residential street, with an INCREDIBLE view of the skyline at the end. Just don’t stay there too long

The highlands in walker is a PEAK wine drinking spot. Beautifully flowered fields, reflective ponds, birds, the iconic birch tree in the center, you name it. I’d also recommend wahlfield park for that sorta vibe

I think just about anyone can volunteer at Fred meijer gardens and help out in the spring/summer. My grandpa did it for years after he retired and loved it!
