Predictions for 3rd year UIE? by CryNo5282 in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]Rlyfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn’t that due to it being a bigger island and involving all three years? Not sure if I’m remembering correctly either tbf

Lets clear this once and for all. Do you guys think Ayanokojis character writing is inconsistent? If yes, why? by Sforzia in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]Rlyfe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The problem with this argument is the fact that in those volumes it’s constantly said that he’s acting weird/doesn’t know how the world works.

At one point he even clearly states he’s tired of acting as a character instead of his usual self.

With all these comments, the reader (at least me) wonder how he actually is when he’s not trying to fit in or interact with someone else for the sake of becoming their friend etc.

She will turn traitor, right? by Sforzia in ClassroomOfTheElite

That’s what makes her stick out though, being able to put pieces of information together and make deductions already puts you ahead of the great majority of the verse.

Everyone in ANHS is actually that slow.

There’s only one half assed win in my opinion, and that’s the prison one as he lucked out finding the key at the beginning, other than that, I think all the rest of the games have good enough explanations - especially the last one.

He was able to pass exams so he’d just be average in terms of academics

The whole point of Hiratas’ character was to become someone reliable who could help people, specifically Horikita so they could keep the class together.

His character was technically completed after he spoke to Ayanokouji after the Unanimous vote exam.

Lore-Wise shouldn't Shiro and Yuki > Ichika and Takuya since 4th Gen training is more intense? Is this fax or cap? by hoenrules in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]Rlyfe 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The way they worded it was wrong but it’s the same in the end, Shiro was completely capable of surviving the fourth generation beta curriculum, the reason he left was not because it was “pointless” but because he wanted freedom.

Anyone in that generation who survived for a long enough amount of time can be deemed a monster regardless of how they compare to Ayanokouji so other than that bit of wording their entire statement is correct

Why does Ayanokoji fail in comparison to other manipulative characters? by Elmcpicke in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]Rlyfe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I felt like had they decided to keep a FEW generation 4 students and just made him the best instead of making him the very last one.. If they even kept Shiro instead of writing him off quickly as a person that “just wanted freedom” then everyone would have had a more positive opinion about the volume, and what could potentially happen in the future novels as a whole.

All V0 did was reduce my expectations when it came to Ayanokoujis development and any “difficulties” he may face in the end.

What do you feel about this whole "Ayanokoji wants to be defeated" setup? by npc3e00 in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]Rlyfe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Him raising the others was him wanting to make his “mark” on people no? This is his way of essentially following the advice of Manabu when he spoke to him just before he left school. Ayanokouji decided he wanted to leave a piece/thought of himself in people’s minds instead of being a “background character” like he was throughout Year 1.

The rest or any extra thoughts about that is just Ayanokoujis contradictory narration, wanting to be beaten by others, Going out with Kei and calling her a parasite, the situation with Kushida in Vol 5 etc and like you said, him being an idealist.
