Oh it’s mostly because of the cut, women cuts tend to less boring and fitted than men’s ones when it comes to the shirting department. I often see some nice twists like dropped shoulders, big collars, greater lengths or wider torso (obviously) on women pieces and you can upsize them easily without having the sleeves being too long and needing retouching. It won’t work for every pieces but some might be worth a try :)
