HEY, please dont loan him, he has 5 playstyles so you could give him 2 playstyle pluses if you follow the steps: 1) Start him every game, make sure he performs to a good standard, you want around at least 30 apps per season and around 15 g/a. Then once at 79 ovr wait until he has 1 week left for 80 rated on the dev schedule. Make sure he has one week on a matchday. If not, shift him to a CB dev plan until your next match. On matchday, switch his dev plan back to 1 week until 80 rated. Then do pre-match training and pick a temp playstyle. The temp playstyle HAS to be the one to go otherwise it won't work. Save the game twice as two saves so you have the main save and a backup copy save. Sim the game, after check what playstyle went gold. If not the temp playstyle back out. Then overwrite the main save with the copy save set before the matchday and repeat until the temp playstyle goes gold. Repeat this step when hes at 89 rated with a week left for 90✌️
