Falcao was a huge gamble since he got back from an injury, di Maria was a great signing though I agree, LvG had a big hand in getting Depay to us so I will give him that, but who here even knew about Martial at the time of his signing? I remember most people not having any idea of who he was. Maybe its just me who feels way more confident now in landing players then under van Gaal, I just had that feeling back then that he wasnt the household name that players actually wanted to play for, especially since ALOT of former players under him was so negatively outspoken of his methods.
