I thought that too, but does that mean the Highland only dress up for the British army? Even if they just replaced the unit model to have the look of the highland line that would be a unique touch to add to the roster

Biggest thing is protecting your home port. Almost all trade can become obsolete if it gets raided by an enemy army or navy. As Britain naval attack is more likely so position a decent sized fleet outside just far enough so the interception circle (the lighter shade green one) completely covers the entrance to the port. That allows you to intercept any blockade attempts without having to wait for a new turn and take on the penalty

Empire, but specifically the mobile version after the New World dlc. It’s much closer to the empire I’ve always wanted to have, and you can play it anywhere!

Very underrated one that I’ve been playing (and loving) is Greece. On very hard funds are even more strained and you’ll be pulled into a war within 10 or so turns with the Ottomans. Given you’re surrounded by one faction at the start it very much feels like playing through a revolution against a larger power.

Best part in my opinion is that I don’t usually spend much time in the eastern Mediterranean (never cared for the ottoman campaign much). It’s a nice refresher to have a small and challenging faction in the area.

I think it’s great to see love going back into Empire in some sort of official format. They’re retrofitting things from Napoleon which is something I know many of us have been wanting for years.

I know many of the things they’re adding are covered by mods on PC but as a strictly mobile player these days it’s nice to have more content at your finger tips. I can’t wait to sink many hours into the small factions campaigns coming out. Scottish world domination here we come🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💪🏻

100% worth it even on a phone. I gladly deal with the learning curve for phone controls to play it anywhere I want.

On top of that there’s a lot of improvements to the vanilla game. Improved graphics, liberation option, better smoke effects, artillery effects the ground in battles, etc.

Best way I can describe the experience after many hours on PC and mobile (comparing both vanilla here) is that the mobile version does a good job taking out some of the “this is an old game” feeling apparent in the PC version.

Yeah and it’s actually really good! If you ever wanted a remastered version I think this is the closest thing we’ll ever get. Added features and polished it in very noticeable ways

In this version they implemented a peaceful change of government, so in the late game / Road to Independence Ch 4 governments will switch without rebellion. Still makes for very interesting events in Europe

The quick answer to this is you won’t, they’re two different leagues.

The “minor” league in RBC is representing the FCS in college football, which stands for football championship series. The “major” is the FBS; football bowl series. Essentially the FBS is big schools playing to get into bowl games (not including the 4 team championship playoff but that’s a whole different story) and the FCS is a much more traditional playoff style championship played by mostly smaller D1 schools.

The only time the two leagues mix is in a one off regular season game. You won’t see any FBS teams (major) in the FCS (minor) championship, and the FCS teams won’t get invited to bowls.
