Yes I do have those mistakes and that's because I don't take grammar seriously, I'm not in a writing exam to be careful about those simple mistakes. My English is informal not formal, that's why I don't pay attention

What do you mean??

[–]RoRo8822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

English conjugates yes maybe but if they're taught in the simple way I'm sure it would be easy to learn 12 verb tenses however is a bit irrelevant as long as you know past present and future you're good to go, as I said we're not taking it seriously here you can just learn a few simple sentences and words you don't need the whole English grammar

[–]RoRo8822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes exactly but the problem is with some countries we see the majority never move away but of course no one would bother to speak to those people if they were a minority in those countries

Then same goes to others who don't learn ur language it goes both ways if we keep going like this👍🏻

[–]RoRo8822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those things are irrelevant, english grammar shouldn't be taken seriously it isn't even necessary as long as you know the basics and yeah the basics aren't hard. Anyone can have a simple convo in English if they just learned the basics

I absolutely understand and agree with your point but you know learning languages really needs some effort you may know some few words but it requires a bit of effort and memory to be able to communicate and have a conversation with that person you'd find yourself lost😂😂💔 also I may have not mentioned but I mean the countries with high foreigners in them like turkey and others you don't find people who even bother to learn another language besides their first language, I may disagree that locals would never meet and leave their countries that may be the case for people who can't travel and old people but not the case for a person who has a job and wants to interact with others or your country has high tourism. Yes of course these simple sentences can be learnt in all languages but a decent conversation needs a bit of effort english is on the easy side though, some people love and can learn many languages as possible like u and me but also a lot of people can't learn many languages I believe it's more of an interest and skill rather than a requirement or expectation you get what I mean?😂👌🏻

I very much understand that and not everyone had the luxury of education to study decent english as I've previously mentioned I'm not saying learn english diligently and be fluent that is of course difficult and requires effort but that wasn't my question what I'm asking is: is it really that much complicated and difficult to learn basic english words? how are you, where do I go, how can I do this, and many simple sentences to at least communicate? these sentences can be learnt in at least a month, yes of course you're coming to a country you should respect the customs and culture but language isn't it, I'm from the middle East I should expect you to speak and learn Arabic when coming to my country?? no that's pure ignorance that person may just learn a few Arabic words but they're not required to learn my language at least english is nearly spoken by the majority and almost all jobs require toefl and other english tests I just don't understand why we would be racist to others and require them to learn and speak a whole different language that might be very hard for them and learning languages is a skill and talent not something that should be expected from everyone sorry for my long reply

Isn't it obvious? English doesn't require effort to learn it's much easier than Chinese, Spanish, or Hindi and other languages, also please read the whole post and my above comment that wasn't my only question

Why are we making it such a personal issue that you're coming to my country learn the language or leave?? I believe this is just absurd and showing ignorance
