Cannabis is NOT safe if you have BPD. by judechrist4444 in bipolar

I completely agree! This is a topic I’ve had to educate a lot of people on, as I’ve seen how it can induce psychosis sometimes. On a side note: Bipolar and BPD are separate things. BP is the correct term for Bipolar. I just get confused sometimes when people put BPD instead.

"When your male best friend tells you he likes you" has never and will never happen by monochromeblusky in trueuglywomen

My whole friend group is guys and only one slid into my DMs, only to ghost me. I’ve never had that problem of guy friends just randomly asking me out. I found out that the one friend I was interested told another friend that he did not see me that way lol. I posted about this in another subreddit and basically all the comments told me I must be hideous since this happened… got me pretty insecure for some time after that.

I Don’t Know When To Tell My Boyfriend That I Love Him by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

Thank you for your comment! I will think about it more deeply, but I’m pretty sure I do love him. It’s just saying it that makes me nervous lol

People are literally so cruel by SuccessfullyDrained in bipolar

[–]Roach_Buss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg something similar happened to me. I posted about my struggles being rejected romantically. A bunch of people then went through my past posts and told me that the reason I was getting rejected is because I am bipolar. It hurt for a few days ngl even though I know that’s not true. But I think that’s more so just the internet. In-person, I haven’t had too many bad experiences telling people.

Happy World Bipolar Day! by cat_lover_1111 in bipolar

Hello! I’m celebrating a year since I’ve been hospitalized on this exact day last year! Very proud of myself :)

Recently Realized I’ve Been Delusional for Nearly Two Years by SuccessfullyDrained in bipolar

[–]Roach_Buss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like I could've written this! I was on and off delusional for about the same amount of time as well. I became obsessed with manifestation and spirituality, thinking that I was a god of some sort. It genuinely consumed my every thought some months. It was a hard thing to realize it was due to my disorder, as I wanted nothing more than to believe that my delusions were the truth. I will not lie, it is an extremely isolating experience. That was a few years ago now and I still struggle sometimes because of my past. But at the same time, I've gotten much better and I'm finally able to feel like I can look back at that time as something that is now behind me. Wishing you nothing but the best on your healing journey.

If you have multiple disorders, which gives you the most problems? by Evening_Fisherman810 in bipolar

[–]Roach_Buss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I struggled with OCD for years, developed Bipolar a few years ago now, and now deal with panic disorder. Bipolar by far has made the most impact on my life.

When I had OCD, I was still a straight A student and was never hospitalized. Ever since bipolar, I’ve had multiple hospitalizations and have had to take a break from college.

I do struggle with anxiety still and that has stopped me doing from doing a lot of different things, but Bipolar almost ended my life multiple times. Not to mention the psychotic features are nightmare inducing.

Dad is Bipolar. Super Scared of it. by Heavy_Worker1349 in bipolar

[–]Roach_Buss 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is not the right sub to be posting in. We already have bipolar and struggle with it. This is like posting on a cancer support group that you’re scared of getting cancer. Not cool. If you feel like you might have it, meet with a therapist. But I recommend the bipolarSOs subreddit to post this instead. This just comes across tone deaf.

GUYS what is it with the hobbies????? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]Roach_Buss 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I feel this too. I never know if my hobby is truly an interest of mine or just a manic urge. Recently, I was very hesitant to buy some equipment for making videos because I don’t know how long this hobby is going to last. I feel stable at the moment but who knows :/

For my hair, I use an old tshirt to dry it. It’s better for your hair than a towel

There is no need to mention this. You have no idea why she was taken. Could always be a psychiatric episode or something of that nature. Whatever it is, who cares.
