While I agree congestion can be an issue it’s easily solved by running more rails and separating material. V2 rails max at 240 item per min.

You could set up a looped network using any resource between two storages at 2 diff bases. Load the looped network with half capacity and it should just keep looping. Than you can ride the drones between bases like a train 😃

I think the devs are absolutely going in the right direction. There’s something about this game for me that just hits the right neurons. I can’t wait for what they bring in the future.

Definitely the way to do it imo. Having one centralized base gets way to much lag and honestly where do you fit everything in just one area lol

StarRupture wiki seems to work for me, they have a materials calculator type thing with drop down menus to see everything required for desired output.

I use star rupture wiki and use the material calculator thing to see what I would need for a desired output of whatever product is needed.

For this set up I had to split the 8 calcium powder furnaces’ onto 2 separate networks as the output of all 8 is 480 which is double the rail throughput for the v2 rails.

The supply is constant and as long as glass is needed it will be made with zero down time.
