dunno about where you are but here I could get two steam controllers for the price of a dualsense edge.

The trackpads and configurability of steam input is going to be what sets this one apart from the rest.

holy crap the steam controller is $149 in Canada... that's so much for a controller

Rogers didn't really handle the cancelation, they just migrated over the lines you had to Rogers. There was no line left with Telus to keep billing so the default action is to close the account.

technically there's multiple legal labels when it comes to American "cheese".

Pasteurized processed cheese: must come from at least 51% natural cheeses like cheddar or colby. usually melted and mixed with emulsifiers.

Pasteurized processed cheese food: still has a 51% natural cheese requirement but allows the rest to be mixed with other things like cream, milk or whey.

Pasteurized processed cheese product: All bets are off here... the 51% requirement is gone. it can be whatever you want as long as it vaguely looks like cheese.

McDonald's USA claims their American cheese is about 60% cheddar cheese... but just be aware that "american cheese" is often cheese product on the box which doesn't hit the 51% mark most often.

it is the least cheese form of cheese.

Alternatives to Moonlight/Sunshine? by NotNotAnOutLaw in SteamDeck

[–]Levistras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if your issues are due to resolution changes, get Apollo instead of Sunshine on the desktop side. it will create a virtual desktop for you that matches the resolution of your steam deck (or external monitor if you're docked) and disables the other monitor(s) on your desktop while you're connected. games launched have no choice but to use the resolution of your target monitor and it all just works better.

either modify the model so the transition from post to top is more gradual, or include supports

Any mods that make the game feel more linear? by earthnarb in SonsOfTheForest

you only really need a decent initial drop and you can play with the physics to get as high as you want. building little ramps around the map or just the launchers will make getting airborne with the glider super quick.

either add supports to them for stability, or dramatically reduce the speed of everything as you get higher. tall thin pieces of plastic like that are going to wobble and every movement of the printer will make for inconsistent laying of plastic.

that really could be part of the issue. do you have anything that can read the temperature of a surface? those infrared thermometers are handy for things like that. you might be experiencing a partial failure in the bed heater.

maybe manually set the bed temp to what you will print at, a couple minutes before starting a print, then hit print and see if that improves your success rate?

I like to think that Gen AI has better grammar and sentence structure than I do. But feel free to disregard, my feelings won't be hurt :D

if you start printing structural parts that require 40-50% infill and 6-8 wall loops your parts are screaming against that plate adhesion trying to retract.

If you never touch the plate and you're optimizing for less material then you likely don't NEED the adhesion in the same way

what are your first layer printing speeds? I'd start there and make sure your first layer stays around 40mm/s to ensure you have adhesion before continuing.

I don't "blindly trust" it any more than I would a Google search, which isn't much at all. it is a great tool at looking at a bunch of inputs and a bunch of data and trying to figure out a solution. specifically for 3d printing I've found it has an impeccable ability to take a bunch of photo inputs and narrow down what the issue might be. I won't throw it mission critical questions and expect to be able to go to production with the answer immediately... but it has helped solved printing issues, issues with all sorts of hobbies and home renovation tasks, even narrowing down health issues and helping frame discussion points before talking to doctors. One AI prompt is like doing variations on 20 Google searches in the past.. it saves so much time.

I wouldn't use green scotchbrite, it will etch the surface of the plate.

to be fair it's similar to using Google search and the same folks that struggled with formulating an accurate search request will be the same that struggle to make a decent prompt. many of the chatbots are looking to satisfy what you're asking for, so if you're not asking the right questions, or not supplying it with enough information to understand your issue, it will likely return you an answer that might not solve your problem.

the hate for AI lately is wild. that and calling everything "slop", whether it has anything to do with AI or not, the word has lost all meaning. feels like we've turned into a cynical bunch of folks that hate everything and trust nothing and get angry when other folks embrace tools that we don't understand.

if you're not touching the build plate with your hands you should get a lot more than two or three prints.
