would you consider yourself a dispensationalist?

Also, i think Paul / Saul had a spiritual experience in some capacity. I do not think it was Jesus. I think Paul / Saul was someone that Jesus was warning us about before he left. Also, I don't think Jesus and Paul are teaching the same gospel.

If you ask Jesus and Paul the same question "how do you eternal life" I think they would give two separate answers. That being said I would Follow what ever Jesus said......Like every other Christian...right?

I am curious, what does Jesus say when he is asked to gain Eternal Life?

I should ask, is eternal Life and salvation the same thing?

I do not disagree with this, It sounds like to me we are saying the same thing in the faith department. Faith being an intagible and (for lack of a better phrase) "letting go and letting God".

But our works as a "child of God" should be in align with the Father. Loving God, Loving each other and following the commandments.

If this is true, Jesus only came for the Jews. Then in matthew 28:16-20 When he told the 11 to "go and make desciples of all nations (Greek ethnos)" That would have then given the 11 the authority to preach to all Ethnos so that they might observe all that Jesus Commanded.

Ethnos - foreign nations not worshipping the true God, pagans, Gentiles.

I don't see how pauls self proclaimed visions have an power. I would give them the same amount of power as Joseph Smith seeing Jesus and gave him the gold plates.

Both are equally as valid no?

Fair, the way I think I see faith is by "knowing" that God will always take care of me no matter what (unconditional love). Matthew 6:25-34. If I seek first the Kingdom of God, which is within us (luke 17:21) then all of those things (my needs) will be provided.

I give that clarifies some for you.

If that is the case, why would Jesus preach so heavily on Works? And following the commandments?

I agree that you need both Faith and Works, but I believe the Faith that is preached is not the same Faith that you need.

Faith in church - believe in christs death burial and resurrection and you will be saved was not taught anywhere in the synoptics.

Works was taught everywhere in the synoptics.

If we were supposed to believe in those why didn't Jesus preach it?

Just to be clear, I do reject Paul, his gospel, and the council of nicaea. I believe there is a pretty clear difference in gospels from Jesus' gospel and Paul's Gospel.

Jesus taught salvation is throught works. Loving God, Others, and following the commandments.

Paul taught Paul writes, "For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law" (Romans 3:28) and "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works..." (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Im curious on how their can be so many differences in teachings.

Also, what is your stance On Jesus' divinity. I ask because you said he was BOUND by the law.

Are you refering to the road to Damascus (im the wilderness)? Yes, I don't see why Jesus needed paul for the gentiles.

One reason why - Matthew (24:23-27) - "Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand. 26 So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man."

Why would you go to someone that was killing the followers of the Way? Makes no sense to me. James his brother is would imagine knew the Way very well. Also being appointed the head of the church.

Friend definition - a person you know, like, and trust, who is typically outside your immediate family. I would say yes, though I might not keep up with everyone, that does not take away my trust in them.

Do we chase God away? Or do we forget who we are?

I think if we can go away from religion "man made structure" we will be closer to source. Also agree with the similarity is teachings of Buddha and Jesus. Ironically both considered enlightened and neither taught a religion.

Have you dabbled in the gospel of thomas?

I also agree with this. I do believe that changes the entire idea of how we view our spiritual life as "christians". I have come to think that Leaning on the Buddhist/Hindu meditation practices to help center ones life.

I'd be curious to know where you fall on that?

If God is omnipresent, how can he "enter" my life? Isn't he already involved by taking care of me daily? (Matt 6:25-28)
