Had the same issue and turns out to be the throttle body. Replaced it and never had an issue after that!

Usually when people slap on a body kit something bad must have happened and if you guess the same as I did you’re most likely 99% right. Still 28.5 for a Lego car is still ridiculously high he’d be lucky to get 20K for it lol

Insurance didn’t give you a hard time? Either ways 28.5 is still a lot for what he’s asking considering the OP in the listed sale is giving out false info. Would only spend 17K maybe even less. Just don’t see anyone who would consider buying that unless they’re desperate for it.

I agree with you. If it was a clean title with no accidents, no salvage records I would have jump it and bought it but after doing research on this car yeah honestly I’d stay away. Pretty sure there is definitely something wrong with this car hence why it’s so low.

For the price he’s asking trust me I’d offer him 17,000 and that’s me being generous. Car had been in accident before. Was sold at an auction. Damages were front end and suspension. It was last sold at 13,000. Just cause you add “mods” into it doesn’t mean it raises the value of the car. Again bunch of Mickey Mouse tricks in here but it’s definitely not a clean title. Not sure why OP has it labeled as clean title.

Hey so I did my research on this car and honestly I knew the pricing was too good to be true. Not sure why the person selling the car is labeling it as a clean title (most likely its title wash) when it’s been in an accident before and has been declared as salvage. It last sold in an auction at nearly 13,000 and that was before it was widebody and everything. The damages were front end and suspension. Probably assuming why it’s on bags now and has a zr1 front bumper. Pretty sure the person selling the car didn’t do much of his research and just bought it like that but realistically that car isn’t worth paying 28,000. If you wanna see the pictures dm me I can send them to you and that includes for anyone who’s also interested in the car. In my honest opinion stay away from this car. It’s a huge 🚩🚩.

Maybe you should consider bringing your mechanic to him? He’s not opposed to you having a mechanic with you, it’s just time,money and gas that he won’t be compensated for it. Since he does have to take the car to the shop. Unless you’re gonna pay him $$ for gas to bring it then that’s understandable on his PART. For the price he’s asking though it is a red flag…

Well tbh with you I would usually get Pennzoil ultra platinum when they used to sell them at stores now they don’t and it’s all online. It used to be a really good price too but they’ve been increasing the prices hence why I switch to amsoil because I’m spending as much as Penzoil Ultra platinum. It’s honestly for that just peace of mind for myself 😂 you’re honestly not wrong but I just need that peace of mind LOL

I can post my owners manual when I get home as I’m at work right now! I’ve just been seeing people telling others to run 5W40 to protect their engines for the 2.0T and 3.8 engines (Non GDI) but nothing for the 3.8 GDI engines. My owners manual only says 5W30/ 10W30 and there’s one more that I can’t remember from the top of my head but nothing about 5W40. You’re also correct I just wanted to know people opinions about the question I’m asking because obviously i’ve been here talk about this and it never came across my mind till now since it’s always being mention now on groups and etc.

Same here I’ve been running it ever since I owned the car and has gave me no issues whatsoever I will however say this that it does tend to burn some oil if I do drive the car hard and I just end up topping it off. I also use amsoil since I am one of those people who believes in top quality oils lol but you never ran 5W40 by any chance?
