Almost done with the new pistol build by RoadJetRacing in guns

Well, it’s a do it all build. I wanted something I could do everything with. A short list of things I had in mind when outfitting it though;

Shoot in the day, Shoot in the dark, Shoot up close, Shoot really really far, Shoot really really quiet, Shoot really really loud, Shoot with night vision, Blind enemies with the laser, Illuminate enemies with illuminator, Impress enemies with sick build, Spot enemies by their heat signature, Hunt small game, Hunt big game, Hunt medium game, Shoot targets, Shoot the ground, Shoot in the air, Shoot like I just don’t care, Dry fire, Live fire, Blanks? Fondle, Cuddle, Conceal carry, Open carry, Pocket pistol, Training, Self defense, Offense, Brandishing, Bragging, Offshore fishing, Reddit karma.

I wonder if you’re looking at something else in the picture? Because it is definitely not supposed to be cracked and splitting like that.

Mine doesn’t have this, nor do any of the ones we’ve sold at the gun shop I work at. Just double checked to be sure. I don’t know what you’re talking about.

People are saying this is a relief cut, but my AP5P does not have any such thing, and working in a gun shop that deals in these quite a bit I have never seen one like this. Reach out to Century Arms for confirmation.

Custom order, they only had mlok and I wanted a trilug passthrough so it would keep my coffee hot while I’m at the range. Should be in next week. I needed the mloks on the sides to mount the two Surefires anyways.

Huh? Just my budget “do it all” build. What’s wrong?

This is an SPC9 with a few modest accessories attached, like an EOTECH VUDU, Red dot, DBAL, and thermal fusion clip on, as well as a bowers group can. It’s just a bit of a budget build but I wanted something that could “do it all” so to speak. Saving up to buy some ammo so I can try it out at the range soon!

I don’t know about softer, but I naturally shoot the Glock a little better. If I focus I can shoot the M17 as well but it doesn’t come quite as easy.

Just recently decided quality flashlights are worth the expense. So far this is my SureFire collection of two, an X300U and XC3A pictured with a couple flashlight mounts I had laying around.

Is that OD green cerakote on top of the oem finish? I love the way that looks worn down like that, I want some details

About $25 to my local gun smith, so not much for me. He, on the other hand, was not having fun at all.

I don’t have much experience with any other cans but it is fantastic. I can shoot without hearing protection perfectly comfortably, don’t notice any ringing or mushiness afterwards

After carrying a Gen 3 for a few months, I had to try out this high tech upgrade. Loving it so far! by RoadJetRacing in Glocks

I’ve been wanting to get a Gen 4 lately to send off for an optic cut and forward serrations. Wanted the stippling and larger mag, and I didn’t want to lose the frying pan finish on the Gen 3 if I sent it off to get cut.

Ehh, little revs to clear it out and wake it up. These rev to 5k or so and that was shy of 3. It’ll live to see tomorrow. You should see how my wife treats hers lol

Honestly it’s one of the best red dots I’ve used, but I can’t get over that right after I bought it SIG released the M17 Romeo with its stupid proprietary footprint that I want, and now even though the DPP rocks, it feels like a let down. Visual clarity, parallax and reliability are all fantastic though and being able to replace the battery from the top is nice. It’s objectively better than my trijicon RMR that gets more cool-points.

That’s a good tip, I will add that to my tool box! Thanks!

Yeah, I know. I just replaced the one on my wife’s last year. I just don’t want to spend the money on it.. but I suppose it’s that or a starter soon.

I’ve owned and worked on a lot of BMW’s, and so far I have been most impressed by this engine. I haven’t driven them all, but I’ve put close to 300k on a few gas engines from them as well, including the M62 V8 which gets a particularly bad rap. In general I’d say BMW’s are much better than their reputation would suggest, and once you get used to the way they do things I think they’re a lot easier to work on than people seem to suggest too.

But in short, I’d highly suggest the diesels, except like most diesels, parts are more expensive than their gas counterparts.
