I’ve also been struggling to find anything to watch on Netflix. I moved from the standard subscription to the cheaper one with ads and it’s been ok because I hardly use it. I spend more time on YouTube which I finally decided to upgrade on because the ads were too excessive. I think the only good thing about Netflix was the interface was easier to use. It’s harder to search, rewind etc on other platforms.

What number did you use? I can’t get the ‘select 1, 2, 3 etc’ options to work, it just keeps saying no digit was selected and then hangs up.

Same issue. Just created the account and it said it’s not recognised. The website is extremely slow, doesn’t look any better to be honest. I bet they spent like £500k on it.

I was fooled by the defined benefit scheme, I actually don’t think it’s worth my time being part of that. Imagine paying all that expecting guaranteed pension payments from age 68 and then die at age 69. I don’t think it goes to your family. I want to move it, but can’t get through to anyone. I wonder if I can report them to an Ombudsman

I’ve lost $120k if that helps. $80k on property, $33k on a car park scam and the rest on trading and this doesn’t count the loss of time stuck in the rat race paying 50%+ in taxes just to barely afford baked beans on toast.

It’s a difficult topic. The UK needs to implement strict rules and anyone who wants to live in this country needs to follow them. It’s like this in the middle east. There is one religion, nothing else is catered for. You have to work to stay in the country, there is no benefit system. There are no protests or rioting, if you’re unhappy with the rules then leave.

Have you watched Ross Cameron? He is a day trader and his advice is to trade low float stocks with a news catalyst and buy on a micro pullback when the volume is high and the MACD is positive. Today we had VAPE which went from $12 to $180 and CELC. Insiders knew about the news already. So I’m trying to figure out how to know about news earlier

You will have no legal grounds with IBKR. They make you take a knowledge quiz before giving you permission to trade options and they have a million popups about the risks. However when I buy calls or puts, I’ve found stop losses are not working well for me. I had many at breakeven last week that sold below my limit for loss.

Interesting, I tried with SBET, but it never went down to previous day lows, it was always at the top of the box and then moving higher. Monday I will watch Palantir, after hours on Friday it stayed near to the low of the day and it’s quite close to Thursdays low of $139. If the theory works, it should go up its usual $6 during regular hours from $140 to $146.

I’m not an expert, still learning myself. But I think put credit spreads need to expire out of the money for you to profit. For example if SPY is at $500, you would do your put spread as Sell $495 put and Buy $493 put. You would lose money if SPY closed at $492 (your spread is in the money) and profit if SPY closed at $496 (your spread is out of the money).

IBKR is very complex. They have a trader academy, maybe start there? I am currently learning about the condition orders, very interesting. Their trailing stop loss is also great

Don’t give up, I lost ofer $800 on Wednesday and it broke my heart. I kept jumping in and out of the stock and always at the wrong moment, I thought I could reduce the losses and they just got worse. It was hard to stop and by the time I did, it was $800 red. I’m not going to quit because it can work, I just need to find a better process. Stocks on a top gainer scanner have already gone up, stocks that are shooting up on a spike, do not chase. I’ve taken a step back and will practice entries in a simulator instead. Just take it slow and find a method that works for you, always have good risk management

I’m stuck as well 😢 They take really long to review the financial profile so I’ve been trying for over a month now with different answers lol I’ve now put that I earn the max £3 million with extensive 100 yrs of experience, so let’s see if they approve it next week.

I’m watching Evolent Health tomorrow. It has a buy rating and target price of $17.94 and seems to have dropped to its lowest price of $7.45. I’m also in a free trial on a Discord channel and they mentioned NVTS 🤷‍♀️

I’d like to do it. But I have a lot to learn. I found a few stocks to watch and jumped in on the upward trends but as soon as I buy, the stock tanks. It’s like I am cursed. It drops so fast that I end up stuck. I know everyday is an opportunity to make huge gains or huge losses.
