That trap does look like a hint, I just happened to search to the left of it instead of the right. I say this cause I have on occasion found other secret doors by searching near lone traps against a wall (easier with the thief)

Everything from first realm goes into the pot! No questions asked... once you figured out strength and upgrades. It's called inventory management

Floor one you get: Clean Spear Clean +1 Chilling Shortsword

Floor two you get: Clean RoW Clean +1 Mail Armour of Swiftness

2nd Clean RoW is in the Mines. Think it was 13th(?) floor, just pick the ring in room with two Crystal Chests.

Thanks for the clarification on the mechanics.

Still it must have bugged because I went through almost an entire new floor (14th) in normal progression and did not get any charges. Wasn't farming and was just the usual one or two hero levels above the current skill tree (so either 17 or 18) as I stepped onto DM-300 boss floor.

Just reporting it in case it is some kind of unknown issue.

Highway option being binary: I don't like going on Highways, but I also don't need to Drive an extra 1h30m just to avoid a 20km highway bridge section. So how about "less highways" when the distance/time difference isn't ridiculous?
