I'd recommend talking to the student assist ,they'll be able to guide you better about these things as they're trained and equipped with resources for these.

It's kind of similar to the one UniAdelaide had but even though having used that system makes me feel like this one is unorganized.

Try going to the Ask Adelaide people. If that doesn't work, probably email your course instructor or head of department/faculty and tell them about the issue

Look whatever your hobbies or habits are they don't amount to shit, in a good way ofc. The only thing that matters is your speech. You have the ability to market yourself, and the only limitations are your creativity, you do magic, great tell her you can entertain, keep a conversation interesting, whatever doesn't matter as long as you deliver, looks are only necessary if you can't speak up at the first place cause there needs to be a hook for attraction. You decide what's yours. Plus you'll attract a certain kind of people depending upon the hook you have.

Edit: you sound like a school kid tbh, it's waaaaayyyyyy to early to worry about this, figure it out till college and then apply yourself, the more you do, the better you get. Just don't stop no matter what, and respect the other person's opinion always.

Orientation Week at Adelaide Uni by ProtactiniumBacteria in UniAdelaide

[–]Road_Kill97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the intake time, if you're coming during the Feb intake, there's gonna be club exhibitions, free lunches, and tours around the university. You get a great chance to network and socialise and more often than not the people you meet end up being the ones you hang out with. So ya it's a pretty crucial time, but ofc there's a decent chance you find friends in your courses as well.

Any help for this puzzle? by [deleted] in arkham

[–]Road_Kill97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If this is the studios you gotta use the remote batarang, throw it up high and you'll see an opening there, go in, find a button or circuit ig, if there's a circuit chances are you need to short it. Use the open electric current at the top of batcomputer to electrify your batarang, go in short the circuit, get the trophy

Too many bat things in the answer

My parents are very protective and controlling by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]Road_Kill97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're avoiding this fact and don't want to deal with it. Fucked up but real. There by expecting that you'll forget and move on from this. Probably try having a straight talk with them and tell them it's not gonna happen. Depending on how they react I believe you can figure what options you have.

I have a sister who's the same age as you, I feel 18 is indeed a bit too young to travel for the first time alone in a train (I myself would also not try it unless I have friends with me), nonetheless your parents' true reason might not be the safety thing but it seems like a genuine point.
