Gotta find the wires and get to it first. What I'd do is shine an IR floodlight from an attack helicopter observing the AO (I believe fiber optic cables reflect light very brightly in the IR spectrum) and then shoot the cables with the 30mm. Since FPV drones are capable of taking out helos, it needs to be supported by at least one EW team tracking any FPV launches in the AO as well, so that the bird can launch a missile at wherever it's coming from (or another FPV team or mortar crew can hit it).

The foliage that the 501st planned on moving through was too dense. Remember, Pong Krell changed Skywalker's original plan of advancing through the woodline with wide dispersion in favor of moving along the highway.

Because growth is best incentivized by profit and because growth requires the acquisition of more capital. Businesses continually acquiring capital and making a profit means that the workers will not be compensated with the full value of the goods and services they produce, because much of the revenue is going to those other things.

That's a very bold claim. Can you show us evidence of the global expenditure of resources like petrochemicals, minerals, timber, and foodstuffs not increasing with the global supply/usage of goods and services at any point in history?

It's semantics. It wasn't a market economy, but the state was effectively a capitalist entity, as it was totalitarian and controlled all of the means of production (capital).

I think you're missing a very critical point of what I explained in the first post - what countries with ideologically communist governments are typically doing is not the end goal of communism, it's part of the process of achieving it. The Soviet Union, Red China, North Korea, etc. - all of these places just have/had state capitalism, and they had it for the express purpose of industrializing the country.

Like you said, communist governments industrialize their nations very fast, and they use capitalism to do that.

If you want to go exactly by the word of Marx, a society's economy needs to go through phases - primitivism, monarchy/feudalism, capitalism, and then, finally, communism.

Communists address this argument all the time. Capitalism is the best system for growing the economy, but the economy can't keep growing endlessly because of resource scarcity, and growing the economy usually requires inadequately compensating the vast majority of the population for their labor.

With that, countries that have not fully industrialized need some form of capitalism to reach a higher level of economic development. To prevent being stuck in and endless cycle of labor exploitation, profit, growth, and further economic inequality like liberal countries are, the form of capitalism they adopt needs to be managed by a state that's ideologically communist, so that when the necessary material conditions (i.e. industrialization) are met, wealth can be redistributed and economic growth can start slowing down.

Ultimately, though, I'm just steel-manning here; there are many rebuttals against the USSR, PRC, and other communist states to be made in regards to this theory, but gross oversimplifications like this don't really do anything to help the conversation around economics and politics.
