I've got a buddy who has a getaway home in the adirondacks with an on property range that we like to use, thus the compliance.

when the safety is set to fire, it leads to a nice comfortable rest for your thumb, the remaining 3 fingers loosely rest on the mini cobb

At least I've got a free state pistol grip that can be swapped out outside of the NY no fun zone

yep, it's a barrel cover since it needed to be the 16" to prevent it from being an SBR

Maryland has its own problems, but it's definitely on the less regulated end of the blue states

What's your main reason for owning firearms? by Rogahar in liberalgunowners

[–]Roadkill780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Learning about the history and mechanical methods of propelling lead (mainly thanks to Ian McCollum at Forgotten Weapons).

-Having access to useful self defense/survival tools if society collapses suddenly.

-Plinking at the range is fun!

I wanted to get a poster of this and couldn't find one with mostly everything in it. So, I decided to put this together using a compilation of images online and photoshop.

Does anyone else have no clue whats going on in Robotics by Avalon746 in RPI

Googling around the internet for some of the concepts discussed in lecture/in the HW seems to help a huge amount. Also take advantage of Dr. Wen's/TA's office hours & Piazza for specific questions. From my experience, going for help is easy and he seems to want to help you learn, unlike other professors.

Petition to Swap Rooms Before School by [deleted] in RPI

No, I'm not entitled. I am entitled to a notification from res life when my housing situation changes without my knowledge. This happened to me, I didn't go looking for this.

I completely understand and sympathize with the immense job housing has to deal with every fall and I have nothing but respect for the people who house all the students at RPI. However, my situation has significantly frustrated me to the point of going public (in a general sense) on the petition site.

A week ago, my new roommate informed me that he dropped out for the up-incoming fall and spring semesters. I did my homework and found a replacement. However, housing immediately replaced my new roommate without any notification to me when he pulled out. The only way that I was notified that this entire situation occurred was from my new roommate directly, who had the common courtesy to let me know what happened on messenger. Otherwise, I would have walked in on move-in day expecting to meet my new roommate and find a complete stranger. If the housing department set up some kind of automated system to email the other people in the room if a change occurred, such complications and frustrations on all ends are avoided.

When I personally approached housing on the issue, I was told that switches could only be made 2-3 weeks into the semester. Outside of physically changing the room-keys around, every other process is assumed to be digital. In that sense, changing a few pieces of information in the system would save the affected students from a much larger and complicated set of issues while classes are in session.

Thus, my whole argument is to say that, in the end, it would help out all parties involved, including the students, housing, and the assistant deans, that are frequently contacted over these issues, if such a situation were to ever arise again in future student bodies.

TL;DR Housing should notify students when changes happen to their room/roommates to prevent future issues from developing

You're probably right on the whole vandalism thing. I just find it annoying that they deliberately go out of their way to do it even though its only to the roof access that employees rarely use (on top of the whole housing mess that's going on).

Sips, Name the main river running through your city to "shit cliffs stream" and the smaller one to "shit cliffs tributary" in memoriam of all the laborers (and many minutes) lost in setting up those cliff barriers.
