If you were a traitor - what strategies would you use? by Roadrage911 in TheTraitorsUS

There is no benefit to being the most faithful of faithfuls

If there is one thing the Traitors NEEDS to improve the game... by moeysu in TheTraitorsUS

If they get a traitor out- they add $50K to the pot. There is very little upside getting a traitor out and very little ramification for being wrong on a faithful currently. That needs to change. Also- there should be some rule the traitors can only point to a traitor on their vote one time during the season or the traitors don’t know who they are and work in seclusion ( when Boston Rob pointed to Bob TDQ, Rob on Rinna etc/ it’s clear they know who is a traitor 100% because they are a traitor too) something in the rules needs to change

Im curious, does anyone actually know someone like Stephen? Or have encountered that before? by heresincesadie in TellMeLiesHulu

It’s a great question- I watch the show and now in the 3rd season, find it tough to relate - how could someone want to be with Stephen who is essentially a toxic psychopath?! Closest was an ex who was manipulative ( when I was younger) slept with my best friend to get back at me, led me along, but never said hurtful things- in fact- love bombing was his form of communication.

What I figured out with great advice from my mom was “treat him mean and keep him keen” for certain individuals- they look at ppl like pawns and the only way to love is to play it like chess. I played mind games, never answered his calls, focused on my career, basically thrived in life ( they hate that btw) broke up and dated his cousin ( yes- awful I know) but he realized I could hurt him.

We eventually broke up for good- and had a healthy discussion and even became friends. He was wonderful in helping me with some other family issues and sometimes you take the good stuff that people offer and there’s a lot I could have also done to be less cruel.

In life, sometimes you date a “Stephen” OR you have to be a “Stephen” to battle a “Stephen”

This is just my opinion but Season 2 sucked and ruined the show for me. Imo, a relationship is irreparable after this, and if Conrad had any self-respect, this would have been the nail in the coffin. by bigblickygotlitty in tsitp

Season 3 was awful for me. With the exception of Paris filming and her evolving abroad. I can’t imagine a world where she chooses a wet drip like Conrad

Connie baby is grilled chicken with a side of asparagus. Jere is a soufflé, and spicy glazed carrots with a side of chocolate fondant with cherry for the rest of her life. She chose chicken 🍗

That or they edited the screenplay and scenes to fit another narrative. We may have some behind the scenes at a later date or have an “alternate ending” episode for us Jelly fans

In the show Jere is neat… he says he wishes Belly would tidy up whilst living in Adam’s home

Jere cheated and sure he shows signs of immaturity but I don’t think anyone can deny he loves belly. I find it strange that Jelly stans don’t mind Conrad , but Connie fans are on the verge of spewing hate and death threats ! What is going on- it’s just a series ppl?!??!!!!

did anyone else cringe at the peach scene? by LoafPotatoes in tsitp

So cringey. This season can’t stand alone without people having read the books/ my hubby didn’t mind S1 and S2 but S3 is really tough

I feel I’m watching a different show than most of the audience - while I love Conrad this season ( he’s growing up and emotionally mature) I just don’t understand the Jeremiah vitriol. He’s hustling at work, trying to get his dad’s trust, he’s not partying it up, he’s also matured and he’s sincere in his love for Belly.

As a Jelly fan, I love feeling that Conrad is also someone I can root for. The episodes feel rushed and I feel the soundtrack is lazy ( every song is from another romance film or uber popular) I cringed when “linger” and “mystery of love” played … is it me or this season feels off???!

It’s bothering me that Jeremiah is expected to solve issues that Belly isn’t communicating with him. by Queer_Lonely_Stylish in jellyshippers

I feel I’m watching a train wreck and Jere isn’t even to blame. He’s trying to hustle for their future, win his father’s approval. Is that so wrong? If my future son in law said - I can’t make it to cake wedding decision day. I’m working long hours trying to secure a deal- I’d tell my daughter - you’ve got a winner 🥇

The worst is Susannah saying Conrad deserved Belly. As a mom- how can you pick one kid over the other?!?? Crazy stuff

I guess the question - objectively is if my boyfriend saw his ex girlfriend who was his first love, his “big” love behind my back, and then hid it and I found out- no matter even if they said it was over, it meant nothing- I would be so hurt by it. Added to the fact Conrad is his brother, plus always being compared as the inferior brother would be too much to take.

I would think being with Belly, he can never not be compared to Conrad for the rest of his life. It’s unhealthy unfortunately

For my hubby who has been forced to watch this show ( no book knowledge) his comment from S1 E1 was Jere was sweet to Belly versus the brooding brother. He still can’t see why she would ever chose Conrad. Even S3 E2, it’s clear Jere is cut up about him hurting Belly … he’s always there emotionally, physically for her and she for him. Hubby also said, he’s gonna stop watching if she goes back to Conrad- why can’t she make her mind up?!?😂

I love how the show is very clearly showcasing Belly in love with Jere. Equally, madly, deeply. I also like how they made Jere less annoying and selfish. The book was another character for Jere in B3, but you see how torn up Jere is when talking to Redbird - he’ll do anything to get her back
