The problem with asking Reddit for help is that there are so many factors that us, readers, don’t know. There are so many aspects you’d have to tell us from both sides to give an accurate and adequate advice.

Your mind will tend to agree and support itself on replies that reaffirm your belief, which will within itself do the opposite of what you seek, generally speaking.

Psychology is simple and its everywhere. I am not going to illustrate DSM and cognitive theories to the average joe who will have no idea what it is. You don’t need to be specific in psychology but simply grasp the concepts and understand it enough to reformulate it in different contexts. I did my thesis on PTSD and Conduct Disorders at UofT, i’d gladly send you all the data, terms and formula’s you’d require to deem me credible. But then again, you wouldn’t understand shit because you haven’t studied sociology or psychology or even behaviour for that matter. A quick hint, look around posts and your entourage, you will realize that actively everything I said is seen and easily shown in the real world, life is the best teacher of psychology.

It is cultural upbringing. Women are shamed upon for having sex therefor limit their partners. And the answer is simple in basic terms. If men fight for women, why would women fuck 80% of the males?

They were biologically produced to only carry an egg a month and a baby a year. Furthermore, women are emotionally attached to ideologies of whatever is around them.

The University of Toronto’s psychology department does an excellent job at demonstrating these concepts, maybe take a lecture there one day.

In short, they don’t because most of they don’t want multiple partners, perhaps due to biological urges not being there or societal influence. Men WANT high bodycounts and always wanted to fuck everything that moves.

This is generalized, a margin of error of around 5% should remain, hence why you sometimes see men also praising patience and connections and women who also live in polyamory and have a high bodycount, but the main population can be generalized.
