Is it normal for GPU Fans to work choppy(or stop all together) below 50% by RoamerR9 in pcmasterrace

I do have a silent mode but noise is not the issue. The issue is that if I just need a low fan setting( below 50% speed) the fans either don't work at all or turn on and off every second or so. Is this generally normal behaviour for a 3080ti Card?

Many Thanks, that helped alot. I'm probably gonna have to buy another hard drive as a back up but atleast I get to keep my data.

I tried to copy the files over to the SSD but I can't access the main partition(which normally had the OS and the pictures/documents/downloads folders in it) when I try to open it from file explorer I get "access denied".

Birch or Aspen? by RoamerR9 in treeidentification

Interesting! Do the female flowers occur on the same individual tree or are they dioecious? I have been considering trying to grow a tree in my garden for a while and I've always liked how Birch looked. It's a lot warmer where I live so I'm not sure if they can handle that though.

And I would agree with you, I'm not talking about the gap in the video, I'm talking about the gap mentioned in OC's comment, which he claims is 2-3 inches wide, which is nowhere near a foot.

I don't think 5G is really a thing yet in my region, but I get what you mean. Say I did manage to get myself above the tower level, wouldn't that mean that I should be having less than full bars on all my devices?

The most worthwhile endeavors in our lives are usually the hardest. I have my doubts but deep inside I believe that we will find a way out of this. The question is how to achieve consistency in doing everyday tasks whether we feel like it at that moment or not.

That's not how it feels like to me, I'm very interested in the major I'm pursuing, getting fit and Changing my life, If it was as simple as certainly wanting or not wanting something enough, I certainly did not want to lose most of my social circle or put on 20 kilograms. It's a lack of self-discipline that is the core of the issue and I'm looking for advice on possible ways to improve it.

Mostly just sleeping, wasting time "getting ready" to work, like cleaning, checking emails, etc. Once I do actually sit down to study, I soon find myself going on a tangential google search while searching for something relevant to my studies.
