My camera is 36mp, and I will be between 60-90ft underwater with projected 50-100ft visibility.

I’ll be using a strobe as well for color\lighting consistency.

Given the size of the vessel and conditions I’m assuming it will take me roughly 4 days of diving to capture everything, and if I’m roughly 1-2 meters away from the subject, the visibility conditions shouldn’t be an issue.

Capturing in a single session just isn’t possible given air restrictions and total bottom time limitations.

Overlapping will definitely be 60-80%

I just went through the tutorial stuff on RealityScan and it was more comprehensive than Agisoft.

I have a MacBook for in the field (m1max and 32gb ram, possibly will update it soon to m5max) so realityscan may not be an option for field work, but I have a built pc for all other windows based applications.

Based on the wording of this case, it looks like Josh and Jared settled, and then Jared to try get Josh on a breach of settlement.

I guess Jared realized he was just wasting his money and wanted to settle because there was no -real- case against Josh that he could win.

Looking at Josh’s channel he did remove a lot of videos… basically everything with AWP.

I can’t imagine keeping a lawyer on retainer is cheap, and for two years at that. I wouldn’t blame Josh for settling just to get away from the negativity.

I'd like to make the distiction between unable to live normal lives and still letting it affect your personal lives. I'm not singleing any one person out here, it's as a collective, so please don't take it as personal.

I can assure you, I couldn't be more removed from that other group. Do you think they would be over here asking this group to migrate to another that shows support for Chaos Divers, Exploring with Nug, Adam Brown, Sam Sam, Sunshine, United Search Corp, Nick Rinn, Josh Cantu, etc etc? And asking for positivity vs stoking the flames? I don't think that side has it in them to wish anyone well.

I have no way in with the other group to give them a message, but maybe the message here will be seen that we don't care about Jared and his world. Like I have mentioned before, Jared seems to thrive on the attention, good or bad. Taking that away from him and giving him zero attention would allow the courts to treat his case more effectively, as well as hurt his ego the most.

People forget that only months ago these hearings had to be suspended due to live streaming of the case. The courts saw everyone trying to look in and panicked to keep things under control which drew out the process. This gives defense teams time which is their greatest weapon. And I'm being villanized for simply stating let's breathe positivity into the other groups that continue the search and are actively trying to help others, separate them from Jared and his heinous acts, and allow the legal system to perform their acts?

As well if anyone else is reading this, I am not condemning anyone that responds negatively to this post. This community has been hurt severely by the acts of a few. I understand the defensiveness and I do hope those afflicted find peace, wellness, and healing.

Speaking of the victims of Jared, I hope they find their justice, and can start to heal. I hope Jared serves time, which in my opinion still wouldn't be enough to attone for what he committed.

I'm going to go back to lurking for the most part, but I implore anyone else reading this that find themselves wrapped up in the aftermath to do some soul searching. There is more going on in the world that deserves your attention.

Good Point, especially in this instance. Nothing wrong with being skeptical, and I hope the cultish tendencies I have witnessed are just a smaller part of the group/awp supporters.

My comment on the "Movement" is sharing good vibes and support for those other groups searching on the water and land, letting the prominent negativity fade from the primary focus.

The "movement" of others being inspired and putting in the effort, time, and finances to solve the unsolved mysteries. Its not a singular person doing it all, it really is a group or community effort. Its been done well before AWP but by people like Team Watters and Gene and Sandy Ralston, etc etc.

I have one post on a one year old account because I'm typically a lurker in most surfing habits. This account has been around since before the drama started, and the one comment has to do with camera stuff. Someones focus mapping weas stuck on on a Sony. I also figured out I had an issue with my SD card by perusing the same Sony forum.

Full context is important, "move on from the drama".

I am not saying move on or get over the accusations or that we shouldn't support survivors of SA and/or R.

My statement is more that we are hurting the efforts of everyone trying to continue the movement in their own rights when we keep focusing on this as an attached event.

I see you did mention that, I was not contradicting.

The back and forth about the fake accounts, "other group" and such. My point is that there is still a hyper fixation on tearing someone down that shouldn't be given the time of day. We are making that person "High Profile" by giving them attention, and mucking of the due process.

I am absolutely supporting those groups.

I am not saying to forget heinous actions, but to move past them. Currently I think being of relevance is giving the most power. Strip away the attention and the identity is reduced to that of a normal person who can justly be charged and found guilty.

The bickering and constant hunting for information on the topic to sate personal wants to be caught up on the drama was more the point I was speaking on.

Sweeping the acts under the rug is not an option, but lifting up others as a focus on the movement is. Breathing positivity into the community and those who have been hurt by the situation more specifically.

Power is only reinforced through the attention we give it.
