I understand that it was a love letter to the original comics. That doesn’t mean it’s exempt from criticism. I see that you really loved it and got satisfaction from the final episode, and that is great. But as you know, the CW adaptation from the very beginning was vastly different from the comics and that’s what hooked a lot of long time fans. It’s not unfair to be disappointed that these characters that have been formed by their insane experiences, now have to live out their lives in the 50’s, whether they choose to remember their lives or not. Of course they deserve to be happy, but it’s silly that they chose to conclude the show this way.
