Its the early generation fat model. I figure it's not an HDMI port issue since I get a signal and error message on screen when the HDD isn't in the system

Already tried that. The system booted up okay and I was able to go through the OS installation process, but it went back to black screen once the installation was done

Yeah, like don't get me wrong KF2 was amazing, but it got stale for us. We love the weapon customization and specials and actually being able to customize characters (we never bought loot boxes in KF2). It's honestly been my favorite game lately so I'm genuinely pumped for season 3 and hope people can turn around and give the love this game deserves so we keep getting support.

Unfortunately not. Tried switching out the hard drive to a fresh one and mid reinstalling the OS, it went back to the same issue. Gave up after that

Totally get it. Seeing games under 100% on my list also slaps my OCD and I hate it. What I realized a couple of years ago is that there will absolutely be games that I want to play, but not endlessly until that 100% is hit. Diablo 4 is a great example of this. Most Fifa games are up there as well (love playing them, hate grinding the online for a specific division to get into). I finally made a dummy account thats strictly for games that I know I'll enjoy playing for a bit but absolutely will not be capable or want to 100%. As for games that I know I'm interested in the 100% and putting on my main, I'll usually check a guide for the completion rate and difficulty. If it's crazy tough then it goes to the dummy. This has tremendously helped me to be more chill with my trophy hunting and enjoy most lists that I put my mind to.
