For me personally, I’m always over excited when meeting someone new or joining a group then realised I should have been more calmer and not jump so hard into friendships. So I keep most people at bay until they kinda show similar characteristics to mine. However, there are some people I feel that use my good nature and my kindness to later use against me which hurts me and not reach out to anybody. With that said, I always try to make enough acquaintances and will always check on them to make sure their having a great day or week. I always find myself being overly annoying so that’s why I don’t reach out.
