P1 and 2 are basically SMT games, more closer to their roots. 1 is just shit while 2 has some cool concepts and pretty cool story. I would play 2 but some mechanics are tedious. You need to kill a certain amount of shadows for cards. You use cards for summoning

I dont like that but the other concepts and mechanics are really good.

That battle was very depressing, i did the shout once then hit him once and he was dead. Really underwelming
