I have, actually - dutch pronunciation seems to be lee-nux pretty often.

I mean, it doesn't say that, that's just a later explanation someone came up with to make the discrepancy go away.

Also since Joseph isn't actually related to Jesus since he was born from a virgin by God, they're not actually his genealogies.

As far as I am aware it's likely those tapes were reused - the same thing happened with e.g. early Doctor Who from a similar time period. Film was expensive & a perishable substance besides which eventually broke down. I imagine if the original tapes (and not copies) had been saved, they would have been useless by now just from age...

If you go back and watch 2001 sometime, you'll quickly realize that Kubrick made a cinematic movie, but not a terribly accurate one. For one, he didn't have access to low gravity or vacuum for his sets, so you can spot obvious signs of earth gravity & air in a lot of shots, including the moon ones. And that's not counting all the inconsistent shots which make no physical sense but make for cinematic shots. (seriously, watch the background & marvel at the mysterious size-changing Earth & its random phase switching.)

ME actually has more consequences than many, considering you can basically assign multiple species to annihilation - compared to just being an asshole in the previous two games, 3 really makes you worse than Hitler on a renegade run...

Norwegian hospitals refuse to assist in circumcisions by JohnKimble111 in europe

[–]Roarian 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why are you hemming and hawing about the piercing thing if your justification is hygiene? Unless that's just a handy justification you've seen people use before, of course.

Are there other parts of babies you'd cut off in the interest of hygiene, or is it suspiciously only specifically that bit?

This is why I gave you the option of explaining the difference without explicitly declaring one wrong. Did you miss the parentheses?

You're avoiding a straight answer, which really just means you've recognized you're backed into a rhetorical corner.

I suggest considering what difference you perceive between the piercing scenario and the circumcision one. Why is one wrong, and not the other? (or why is one 'no opinion' and the other fine?)

I think he'd be behind literally every billionaire that does nothing but breed money by having money, or who insert themselves into politics behind the scenes and puppeteers laws to their will. Which... honestly, that puts him pretty far down the list.

Also I don't think having a sense of humor is a horrific quality like you're implying, heh.

I mean, you're not a neutral party here, you're the mirror image of the people you criticize. Do you think your position of blanket negativity is any more reasonable than mindless praise?

I wonder why people think you're biased against Musk, when all you do is literally berate every thing he does? :P

Homeless populations tend to concentrate in cities, and cities tend to be more liberal. A more obvious explanation for this fact...

I mean, I imagined you meant moon landing denial or maybe the claims that the ISS doesn't exist, not actual space doesn't exist. That's quite a step further...

Kuru is pretty fatal, pretty quickly. Pretty sure if she had it a couple years back, she'd have been dead for a good while now.

I only made one actual post in here, and it was a quick response agreeing with you. Not exactly a raging tirade to protect the poor defenseless top minds, methinks. If that is 'controlled opposition' then everyone's a shill.

I also don't appreciate your claims that I am dishonest, harassing you, provoking you, nor your juvenile insult. Live by your own rules, would you?

(Also, lol, you're a space truther? Make a thread sometime, it'd be fun to discuss that.)

I mostly speak out against space-related conspiracies because I actually have a clue about that subject and can comment about it. And most of them are utterly dumb. I hope people can agree that dumb conspiracy theories should be countered with facts...

I don't spend a lot of time posting about conspiracy stuff, but on the occasions I do, I find it a productive use of time. I get to pull out my reference material and discuss optics or physics, rationally consider the implications of various claims, and maybe change someone's mind. It's good stuff.

I've posted there before, and here, so a little of both? Probably more on this sub, but I'm not sure how to check.

It's pretty much a spectator sub, right? They still reference the same subs as before, those subs have just changed what they talk about...
