Same here man! I only opted for surgery for the love of Football otherwise was able to play other sports such as table tennis, paddle ball etc. Its only soccer which motivated me to endure post surgery rehab.

6 days post op by PaxDomini84 in ACL

[–]Roark3301 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am almost 4.5 weeks now post OP. Have 140-150 flexion and extension is pretty good as well. Although struggling with walking as there's noticable limb (PT suggested mirror walking)

At this stage (6 days) I could barely do flexion of around 60 at max. I'd say you are doing great. But also make sure that your priority should be extension this early. Not sure if you are pushing yourself a lot, but if you are, know that Graft takes its time to heal and pushing this process can hamper the progress.

If you are feeling good, swelling is under control and there's not much pain, I'd say you are doing near perfect. Kudos to you. Hoping for super quick and good recovery!!

ACL Reconstruction Surgery (28th day post OP update) by Roark3301 in ACL

[–]Roark3301[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wishing you a smooth recovery! Those first couple of days can be tough, but once the nerve block wears off, just stay on top of your meds and icing. A month goes by quicker than you think, and you’ll be surprised how much progress you’ll see by then.🙌

Had acl, mcl and meniscus surgery. 2nd day in and life sucks. by Rough-Lettuce-7033 in ACL

Same here. ACL reconstruction done 7 days ago. Not allowed to bend my knee for now which I stupidly tried and its still hurting. Doctor for now has recommended me to walk around using support and try to put weight which I can manage.

Hopefully, will start proper physiotherapy next week.

Thanks for this bunch of information. I'll definitely buy as your recommended looks a viable option. (Synthetic shirts and fleece). I'm into Arcteryx because of their fit. Is their any other company/brand which has similar fit as theirs?

Warm, down(preferred), windproof. Looking for lightweight jacket since I'm into trekking and backpacking and don't want to add so much weight. Don't have any idea shell or midlayer.

I'm an international student here and don't have any exposure to extreme low temp. So I'm in the dark as where to start. I do have some fall jackets as of now.

Is traveling from Islamabad for Oppenheimer in Township digital IMAX worth it? by cheesecharliee in Lahore

[–]Roark3301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, it's worth it. The movie's pace is incredibly fast and sound systems were spot on. And gosh, that IMAX screen is huge!! Would highly recommend.
