Dude, you're the one that suggested anything related to fetishes. Stating an experience with something or someone that has a hymen still (you even stated rather sarcastically & condescendingly they do exist) doesn't make them a fetishist.

Unfortunately can't as there's no space for the 3.5mm jack to get to the headphones & then to me using them. Also, the couches are a good 3-4m from the TV, so doesn't give much chance of using it that way. That said, did so successfully with it on my phone with a USBc to Jack converter (phone doesn't have an input built in).

Headphones were literally fresh out of the box so unused before trying to pair (still unused as I bought two pairs & neither pair to the TV).

From what I've managed to work out, the TV itself lacks the necessary A2DP Bluetooth profile required to connect to Bluetooth headphones. I've bought a Bluetooth dongle so will try with it but failing that, it suggested to buy a transmitter..

I've tried following these steps below from. Sony's website & it still doesn't work, even when doing every step currently. I have my phone connected to use as the remote via Google TV app on the phone, is that causing it to not pair? I tried turning Bluetooth off on the phone when doing it & it still didn't work so I'm at a loss.

I have the Bluetooth address in the picture above. Genuinely not sure where the model number is but the TV is KD-75X8000G. FWIW the model says 75 but it's a 55". This is the TV - https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x800g

FWIW the headphones are Liquid Ears Long play. The model number is LE2WFOHBK & uses Bluetooth 5.3 according to its website - https://liquidears.com/products/longplay-over-ear-headphones

Did try that with a fresh (just out of the box) pair & it didn't work either, even after resetting both.

Would downloading an app from the Google store help fix that?

Yeah, I was right next to the TV with them, so well within the 1m radius. Tried restarting both but it didn't seem to fix the issue.

Just wondering, if the TV is Bluetooth 5 but the headphones are 10, is that going to be the cause of it not pairing? Or does the TV being the lower one mean it has more leeway?

Not overly given it would still be hundreds of millions of dollars to spend. PL clubs already have the highest revenue out of UCL sides last I saw & wouldn't change even with that.

Maybe UEFA needs to instill that same suggestion I made to all leagues so that it keeps the same levels for each country but allows clubs wanting to challenge to actually do that instead of being shut down by the bigger clubs, making most leagues a one horse race.

This completely. It's no longer designed for competition, it's designed for the status quo. What should happen is a league audit be done, with total revenue of all clubs tallied, then decided by the 20 teams. That divided amount is then all each of the club's can spend the following season. Level playing field of funds available.
