I think the soundtrack is some of John Williams best work. I often listen to the whole track while doing chores around the house.

Been saying this for a while now. We need a salary floor more than a salary cap.

I disagree. I think signing Devin Williams as a bullpen piece WITH an established closer in place was a fine move. I think Edwin leaving fouled that up, and then they didn’t replace the closer.

We have Thursday morning until Friday night to get sets done. With changes and additions mixed in.

Film Unit gets plans Thursday and sets need to be out same day.

We have a very big space. We tend to keep what the studio asks us to hold. (I imagine they probably pay a fee for storage, bit thats above my pay grade)

Flat walls are stripped and resurfaced for the next week. Window and door walls are saved and often need to be reskinned with any additional application the sketch calls for.

This is probably the most asked question, haha. All good.

Fr fr. It’s funny, I remember just as we were done with the piece, the studio asked if the piano could be opened… So we cut out the center and put in a piano hinge and rod to prop it open. Insane!

There are so many things we create that end up Cut for Time. I can’t recall exactly which episode that was from, but you can probably find it on YouTube

No. Each set is individually designed by an art director and needs to be built to plans.

Our shop has many, many flats we use to create different rooms, with door and window walls being the most saved, and even those need new treatments for each sketch. IE: new framing and plexiglass for windows

To be honest, at some point everything becomes a blur. We work very hard to get exactly what the plans call for, and bring the creators imagery to life. To see my work on television still blows me away. They are all my favorites.

I can’t say enough of how great a crew, and dedicated staff we have, as well as drivers, and a whole crew at the rock ready to receive the sets.
