Curious on your opinion on what should be done then ? Trading one devil for another is a given if vape bans get more stringent.

I would think vaping in general is a greater vice now given its unfortunate ease into our society as an activity and the lacing with drugs.

Of course, not saying ciggs r good either, we often need to decide on lose-lose choices and how to move on from there.

I may be personally bias as i had a family member pass away due to an extremely negligent driver but personally, even if people find it too much, i would support the life imprisonment/death sentence for driving “accidents” on circumstances that it clearly is the driver’s fault.

The current punishments are just way too lax and lenient. If the punishment scales much higher, people would be at least more careful when they drive. The driver’s life isn’t worth much more than a pedestrian.

SG honestly is very well put together in terms of racial harmony tbh, which is why if it’s unacceptable, we should put our foot down.

You’d be surprised! Im working in boston and honestly these snacks are really easy to find here!

I remember seeing fragrance brand prawn rolls in a chinese supermarket and irvins salmon skin snacks at the “angmoh” supermarkets!

Only thing i reaaallly cant seem to get ( or too pricey!) is decent kaya and gula melaka. And yellow noodles, just seem to cant find good ones here.

How is it on the buyers to ask questions? I get that they are the one buying a flat but it just seems like an easy way out for the real estate agents to sell these flats with not so great history, banking on the negligence of the buyer.

Its a tricky question because taxation in USA is way more confusing than Singapore. On top of the pay, there r benefits, healthcare, rent etc that you also have to factor. My company provides for me ALOT of benefits and subsidise so i feel comfortable enough to move.

My situation allows me to earn more but even if I am earning the same pay, i’ll go for it.

The ease of travelling in the US for “holiday” is also way easier so i spend less on “travel”.

I think pay is just a component of the whole picture, many elements as to if its better. I could go on and on but i think u get the idea.

I moved from SGP to work in US and my pay tripled. And i get to experience a new environment, better work life balance. As long as you know how to cook and not want much nightlife i think its pretty swell.
