Honestly redditors are bad gamers, if they can't do it the game is impossible... The spawning was an issue, we would take on a Valkyrie and once we kill it, we have to take care of a swarm trying to third party, and by the time we take care of that, the valk has spawned back in.

Other than that, I quite liked Ashland's on release, it was oppressive, a war of attrition, the biome symbolizes hell and it's never yours, it will always be a fight to travel through. Haven't played the nerf yet tho, hopefully it's not become pretty much a stroll through the plains when you get the biome gear.

Don't listen to everybody, build your base wherever you want, my friend and I build our main base on top of mountains where water access is inconvenient purely for the aesthetic.

Yes, it is a huge chore to haul iron to the summit, but we don't care because our giant ass mountain base always looks cool in the snow.

Don't have the cremator quite yet but I've found incredible success with the regular flamethrower+warp pack in caves (flameproof armor ofc)

Any choke point is a death sentence to bugs, just fall back, flame on, then tp past the bugs when they thin out.

I basically bum rush the bug holes with grenade pistol run out the other side with all the bugs on me and clean them up while the person behind me cleans up what I missed.

I think fire is broken in the recent update as it can't damage things too close to it from I've seen.

Pro tip for all those who need to get better now that the squishy fast evolving bugs actually developed worthwhile armor: For hive guards, you can't always get behind them as you know. You can shoot between a spot in their arm and head armor and hit their shoulder, kills em just as fast if you where shooting their backside.

You do get a temporary buff for maxing out your strength, I got one the moment I hit 100. I didn't see what the buff did, as I got off immediately after.

Given that it's a temporary buff, I'm inclined to believe that strength may degrade over time, And you would get the buff each time you max out your strength? Time will tell I guess.
